He mentions incidents across the globe where healthy athletes have had the vaccine followed by medical incidents. He says players don’t want to take a vaccine that hasn’t gone through the most rigorous testing: ‘They think it is a bigger risk having the vaccine than not.’
He reveals that deputy chief medical officer Jonathan Van-Tam has met players, presumably to try to convince them otherwise.

UK’s former health secretary Matt Hancock lost his job with the United Nations days after getting it.
It comes as Hancock was set to be a UN special representative on financial innovation and climate change for the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa.

It is, however, a perfect metaphor for our current food supply chain.
- Crops have been failing.
- Grain reserves are hollowed out.
- Supply chain in a state of cascading failures.
The shelves where you are may still look full (or may not!). But the reality is we are dangerously close to empty shelves.
All to convince the public that a climate crisis demands totalitarian response…
It is, however, a perfect metaphor for our current food supply chain.
