Putin said Ukraine is committing genocide against those in Donbass for not supporting the Maidan movement
In my opinion the whole lead up to him announcing the recognition of the LPR and DPR was his justification for military action in Ukraine. All of the problems he laid out can’t be fixed with just recognition.
Syria is the second country to recognize the DPR and LPR as independent nations
Also if it means anything the Houthis have also announced their recognition of the DPR and LPR lmao
I’ve been in this game for a while now and I wanna thank the OGs who have been around since the start fr 💯💯💯

If (starting to look like “when” now) Russia makes a move outside of rebel held areas of Donbas, exact major cyber attacks not only in Ukraine, but possibly globally targeting banks and power infrastructure. Ukraine has been known as the “cyber playground” of Russia for years and all of the recent attacks appear to be testing the waters for something larger. NotPetya wreaked havoc abroad and something similar, or even more powerful, can possibly lead to world wide economic disruption.
