Also if it means anything the Houthis have also announced their recognition of the DPR and LPR lmao
Ukraine MoD urges civilians to not post videos of military movements
I’ve been in this game for a while now and I wanna thank the OGs who have been around since the start fr 💯💯💯
Ngl I’ve been looking back at all that we, as a community, have accomplished. Younger me would definitely be proud at what I have helped accomplished in the online news community. Wouldn’t be possible without all of you. Throughout all the pages, banned or not, Atlas has collectively gained well over 500k followers. Mad.
I really hate Instagram’s algorithms with not showing posts in order of when they were posted. I’m three posts past “the Post” and people still don’t have any idea.
Looks like that pontoon bridge on the Pripyat river wasn’t for training purposes after all. Massive Russian convoy spotted 1,500ft from the Belarus/ Ukraine border. This is northern Ukraine and nowhere near Donbas for “peacekeeping operations.”
The 2022 Donbass Decree and 2008 Georgia Decree from Russia is nearly copied word for word ☠️
Separatist forces are shelling the Luhansk Power Station in Schastya, which is in Ukrainian held territory just outside Luhansk city. (Via BackAndAlive on Twitter)
When carrying out false flag operations make sure you get the vehicle right and/or don’t use military vehicle variants only used by Russia lmao
For context they said the BTR got past the frontlines undetected and somehow made its way to Novoazovsk
Honestly Russia doesn’t give a Fuck about sloppy false flag operations because it isn’t to fool us, it’s for Russians and the people in Donbass.
EU just slapped travel bans and asset freezes on every member of Russia’s State Duma
If (starting to look like “when” now) Russia makes a move outside of rebel held areas of Donbas, exact major cyber attacks not only in Ukraine, but possibly globally targeting banks and power infrastructure. Ukraine has been known as the “cyber playground” of Russia for years and all of the recent attacks appear to be testing the waters for something larger. NotPetya wreaked havoc abroad and something similar, or even more powerful, can possibly lead to world wide economic disruption.
Zelensky is still pushing to resolve this diplomatically above all else. I don’t know how much longer a diplomatic window is open, if at all, considering Russia’s rhetoric about taking back the entirety of Donbas.
Seeing reports of a large blast in Donetsk city.
Waiting for video/ picture confirmation
How is everyone doing. Like fr how you are doing.
Another very concerning indication of further Russian military action: OSINT pages across social media platforms are being attacked with mass report spamming, which is causing them to be temporarily taken down. I’m sure many of you know that if a page gets reported a certain amount of times in a short period it is automatically blocked before it can be reviewed and restored. It’s happened to me once before but regarding posts being mass reported and not necessarily my page as a whole (just to clarify this is completely different from Instagram algorithms taking down my pages over the past year)
OSINT= Open Source Intelligence. It’s an intelligence tradecraft of exploiting publicly available information, namely social media, to provide updates on events and collect information. I myself have considered Atlas as an OSINT page for some time due to how I collect information. That being said I consider myself an OSINT analyst rather than a journalist.
Bomb threats popping up around Kiev. They are likely fake to cause panic in conjunction with the cyber attacks.
