As I said our servers crashed from so many people trying to access the website so just wait it out
I’m gonna be completely honest we had a really good server meant for tens of thousands of people. We were told by the webpage host that we had an influx of 150k requests and overwhelmed everything
Lmfao so many people accessed the website that the server host thought there was a DDoS attack
THANK YOU EVERYONE
I am absolutely speechless
Server issues fixed, website should be clear
Russia has banned Facebook
It looks like Twitter as well now
Russian media presence on social media looks like it will be limited to VK and Telegram for now.
Instagram isn’t blocked as of yet
And VK is essentially Russian Facebook
But considering Instagram is owned by Facebook I can’t see it lasting very much longer
Russian state media pages still posting on Twitter despite the government banning it.
It’s about competing narratives in an information environment. Ban Facebook and Twitter because there is a plethora of narratives going against their own on there. Move everyone to VK, which is state owned, and you let your audience only see things allowed on the platform.
Telegram is still an option and is very popular in the country, so I wonder if they will keep it up
Snapchat has turned off the snap map for Ukraine, I don’t know why
Writing up a long form piece right now for the website about the anti-loitering munition cages Russia put on its tanks. These were supposed to be a lesson learned from the 2020 Nagorno Karabakh war with how Azeri loitering munitions wreaked havoc on Armenian armor. Problem is this conflict hasn’t seen any loitering munitions and ATGMs haven’t been slowed down by them.
In the past two years there have been two wars between conventional militaries. Armenia v. Azerbaijan in 2020 and now Russia v. Ukraine in 2022.

Could even be argued Taliban v. Afghanistan in 2021 because at many times the Taliban operated like a conventional military.
Mayor of Energodar has denied claims by Ukrainian media that Russian forces have left the city/ been pushed out of the city.
Welp
