As many people here already know, how we are breathing can influence our feelings, thoughts and perceptions of life and the world. Just as what’s going on in the world and in our lives can influence our thoughts, feelings and the quality of our breath. By consciously choosing to support the fullness and depth of our breath we can have an influence on our feelings and thoughts and how we perceive what’s happening. This can give us a greater capacity to choose how we respond.
All that to say, the more fear is present the more we tend to hold our breath and breathe shallow which gives signals to our nervous system that we’re not safe, which disturbs our emotions and leads to our minds trying to take over and get things under control. Also, when people around us are afraid and not breathing well, we may automatically entrain to their breathing pattern without even realizing it.
Here is a meditation/healing session I did a year or so ago called Liberating Your Breath. If you’d like some support today to find your breath you’re welcome to listen in: https://soundcloud.com/cyole/liberating-your-breath-meditation

Christine here. I scheduled a group voice chat for tomorrow at 10am central time. This has been a fun way to hear from people living in different parts of the world, and have a spontaneous inspired conversation. If you’re available and would like to jump on, it’s a chance to say hi and share where you’re at, what’s going on for you, what you’d like support with, or what’s going great in your life. And it’s an opportunity to ask questions, share insights and just hang out for a bit.
Thank you to everyone who joined in for the voice chat today. I appreciated getting to hear from someone in Australia, Guatemala, Portugal, Spain and a few different places in Canada. And on other chats we’ve heard from someone in India, the UK and many in the US. It can be nice to have the reminder that we’re not alone.
There are people around the world who share our concerns and feel the grief and despair around what has happened and is happening. There are people finding ways to live off grid and getting curious about reducing dependence on the system. Some people are adept at permaculture, others are brilliant at addressing injustice, calling out the lies and standing for truth.
We’re each doing our part. Sometimes our part is known to us, sometimes it isn’t. Just being who we are and being in the practice of inquiry, contemplation and self-reflection is a form of advocacy in today’s world! So may everyone receive some acknowledgment today, for who you are, for what you’re doing and for the love, the caring, the beauty and the wisdom that you have within you.
Next week I’ll host a group chat on Tuesday at 5pm central time and on Saturday at 10am central time. A day in advance I’ll schedule it on the page, so you can see the countdown for where you are in the world and know what day/time that will be for you, if you would like to join in. Either way, thank you for being you and thank you for being here.

One question that can be good to ask ourselves is: what are my assumptions here? As we know, many people in the world are throwing around accusations based in assumptions that sometimes are light years away from reality. And it can be exhausting to attempt to battle against accusations and contend with the inaccurate assumptions that they are founded upon.
How do we become immune to accusations, capable of dismantling assumptions and available to listen for and hear the truth and that which is the most accurate assessment of what is actually the case?
One potential response to this question is to rebuild our natural integrity, our capacity for situational awareness, receptivity, and an in the moment assessment of the our own capacity and the capacity of those around us to see, hear, feel and understand something. What can prevent this is anywhere we or those around us have taken on a wounded/withdrawn or aggressive stance. I recorded a video today exploring this subject matter. This week sometime I’ll record one talking about ways to dismantle assumptions and get to the heart of the matter. I’m sure many people here are already brilliant at this!

What is Natural Integrity?
When we’ve experienced incoming or outgoing boundary violations we fall out of touch with our natural integrity. We end up in a posture of being wounded or aggressive, or oscillating between the two. This video introduces this material and helps to articulate…

Today I recorded a video called Dismantling Assumptions & Restoring Integrity. It’s part of my exploration of the question I posed in the last post of:
How do we become immune to accusations, capable of dismantling assumptions and available to listen for and hear the truth and that which is the most accurate assessment of what is actually the case?
This exploration is inspired by current conditions in the world, where as I’m sure most if not all of you have heard of someone or encountered someone directly who has delivered accusations such as “you don’t care”, “you’re selfish” “you just don’t get it” etc. Which can be bewildering and confusing if we’re not aware of the state someone’s in and the assumptions holding up the accusation. As we learn to dismantle this, or collapse the house of cards through the presence of love, the truth can be revealed and we can find the way forward.

Dismantling Assumptions & Restoring Integrity
In this video I discuss how when our integrity has been compromised we lose our capacity to assess what is, which increases our need to rely on assumptions to navigate our life experience. The more wounded or aggressive we become, the more we have to rely…
