Yes, I said Christians too. I said that with a deep love for Christ (whom I do believe existed but am exploring the possibility that he actually didn’t because a friend of mine presented some compelling info on it— that’s called being open and willing to change your mind if presented with information that goes against your current paradigm. What a concept!)

And I say that while also personally sharing much of the perceptions from the categories listed above.

This points to a deeper issue of identity. Are you identifying with these labels? Who are you? If you believe that a piece of you is that which you believe in, you will defend it dogmatically, because you subconsciously believe that removing it from your field is removing a piece of you. More on that later.
