12. See that plastic wall in the first picture? See those fins on the side in the middle & on the back of the frame? Those have to be removed very precisely. Until they are removed they block the installation of key components.

13. A finished Glock pistol, & that’s what this is meant to become, has 4 holes drilled in the side, for pins that are hammered through & held in place by friction. They hold the entire frame assembly together. Note that there is ONE (1) hole drilled. You must precisely drill out THREE (3) remaining holes, of two (2) different sizes on both sides. They must be no larger than a maximum tolerance of 3.05mm & 4.05mm respectively & must be 3 dimensionally straight & level & perfectly matched to the corresponding hole on the opposite side or its trash & cant be used. The goal is to slightly UNDERSIZE the holes to give adequate friction to keep the pins from walking out of the frame due to the shock & vibrations of firing.

14. This is how the pistol begins: an upper slide, and a lower ‘receiver’. The gun itself is defined in the 1968 gun control act, as a completed receiver, and must be serialized to be sold & go through an FFL & be background checked. But, these carry no serial numbers, because…..they aren’t finished receivers. They still require 20% of the machining & milling to make into a useable receiver. That’s where the term ‘80 percent builds’ comes from. They cannot be used until the remaining 1/5 of the machining is done to them.

15. The channel for the guide rod must be precisely milled out & widened- or even a properly assembled firearm will not function. The rails you see in this finished firearm require hand-fitment, & sanding/milling to spec & fit, and then the slide assembly needs to be fitted to the rails as well.

16. These frames require additional parts kits to fit out, containing a trigger, pins, & other associated parts sold separately from the Polymer80 jig & frame. To say nothing of the slide, barrel, sights & slide internal parts that also must be acquired, assembled, & then married to the completed frame.

17. While the jig helps you to drill and mill in the correct spots, it cannot do the machining & finish work & hand fitment & assembly for you. And the parts to finish the complete, working frame are sold separately.
