✍Pakistan Stages “Rad-ul-Fatah” Military Drill 190 km from Indian Border

⭐Pakistan conducted the “Rad-ul-Fatah” exercise at the Tilla Firing Range in Jhelum, around 190 km from the Indian border, during the visit of Jordan’s King Abdullah II. The drill involved 1 Corps, Aviation Corps, Second Artillery Division, and the 6th Armored Division.

⭐The Second Artillery Division showcased Fatah-1 and Fatah-2 missiles and fired the SH-15 artillery system. Pakistan also displayed JF-17 fighter jets, while the Aviation Unit’s Rehwali squad carried out firing from Cobra and Z-10 ME helicopters. The 6th Armored Division demonstrated firing from 6MBT-Hyder tanks. Suicide drones and Chinese-assisted FPV drones of 10-inch and 7-inch sizes were also part of the showcase.

⭐King Abdullah II was briefed by Major General Azhar Yaseen of the 17th Infantry Division from the Sindh Regiment, along with Field Marshal Asim Munir. Brigadier Azmat Shabbir, CEO of NRTC, presented a quadcopter developed last year that carries a stabilized assault rifle with a range of 10 km and a flight ceiling of 3 km.

⭐After the drill, Field Marshal Asim Munir made off-record remarks warning that Pakistan would retaliate if attacked. The event is being viewed as an effort to display Pakistan’s capabilities to Jordan for potential defence cooperation. Munir was also seen driving the GHQ 786-number Toyota jeep used by top Pakistani military officials.

The IMF’s new Governance & Corruption Diagnostic on Pakistan is essentially a detailed ledger of how spectacularly a state can mismanage and waste public money.
The findings are blunt: corruption is systemic, institutions are compromised, and entire sectors exist primarily to siphon resources rather than deliver services. From tax administration to SOEs, procurement to public investment-every major pillar of the state shows structural decay driven by misuse of funds and entrenched patronage networks.

Billions have been poured into budgets, projects, and “reforms,” only to disappear into opaque accounts, preferential contracts, and politically protected networks. The judiciary cannot enforce contracts, regulators cannot regulate, auditors cannot audit, and anti-corruption bodies cannot prosecute without political permission.

IMF estimates Pakistan could add 5-6% to its GDP by simply reducing corruption and improving governance, an extraordinary figure that itself illustrates the scale of national waste.
