🚨 KABUL BLAST | SHARH-E-NAW (PD-4)

An explosion occurred at approximately 1500 hrs (local) at the Chinese Noodle restaurant located on Gulfaroshi (Golfroshi) Alley, Shahr-e-Naw, Kabul (PD-4).
The restaurant was a Chinese–Afghan joint venture owned by Abdul Majid, a Chinese Muslim from Xinjiang, along with Afghan partner Abdul Jabbar Mahmoud. It primarily served Chinese Muslim clientele, and the blast reportedly occurred near the kitchen area.

Casualties (initial reports):
At least 1 Chinese national, identified as Ayub (Muslim), and 6 Afghan nationals were killed, with several others injured. Exact casualty figures remain unconfirmed.

Conflicting Accounts:
Some local sources attributed the blast to a gas cylinder explosion, while TOLOnews reported that Chinese nationals were the intended target.

Islamic State Khorasan Province (ISKP) has claimed responsibility for the attack in central Kabul, stating it was carried out by a suicide bomber.

The claim states that a suicide attacker entered a Chinese-linked hotel in the Shahr-e-Naw district of Kabul and detonated an explosive vest, specifically targeting Chinese nationals. The incident allegedly resulted in approximately 25 casualties (killed and wounded), including Chinese citizens and security personnel, and occurred within a secured area of the capital.

Ambedkar across India on 26 January.
