می‌خواستم beowulf هم بذارم ولی خیلی به دلم ننشست انیمیشنش و فیلمش که کلا سای‌فای/فانتزیه (و اونقدر ربطی نداره) پس کنسل شد

I can see the human shaped display of emptiness roam the halls. I can see the absence of light in his eyes. I can see every crack on the wall, every stain on the floor. I can see the headlights approaching.
If I reach out, I can almost touch every dream he's meant to achieve, but it's always failure that takes my hand. I can touch every claw mark I've ever left on my body, but my touch is never any gentler. I can push away the thorns tearing me to pieces, but I only ever push them deeper. I could wipe all the dust he's fading under, but all I ever do is watch.
I can hear him cry through the walls. I can hear my own heart breaking, and the sirens that follow.
I can smell the fear and desperation in the air, and all I can taste is iron in my mouth.

می‌دونید لگام جادوگر (witch's bridle) یا لگام سرزنش چیه؟

توی قرن ۱۶ توی انگلیس و اسکاتلند وسیله‌ی تنبیهی برای زنان ساخته شد که از شایعه پراکنی، غیبت کردن و حاضرجوابی‌شون جلوگیری کنه و با تحقیر عمومی بد بودن کارشون رو نشون بده.

قطعه‌ای که توی دهن فرو می‌رفت کارش این بود که از حرف زدن زن جلوگیری کنه و بعضی وقت‌ها به شدت دردناک بود و باعث خونریزی می‌شد.

حتی بعضی وقت‌ها برای تحقیر بیشتر از زنگوله دور گردنشون استفاده می‌کردن که با هر تکان صدا بده.

و بعد از اون یه زنجیر مثل قلاده دور گردن زن می‌بستن و توی خیابون راه می‌بردنش که همه ببین این زن کیه و چکار کرده و جزای کارش رو چطور داره می‌بینه.

عاشوب گفت سینمای ایران و من باز یاد شیرین عباس کیارستمی افتادم. فیلمی که ۱۱۳ بازیگر زن بدون هیچ حرفی توی سینما نشستن و خسرو و شیرین نگاه می‌کنن.

ما تا قبل از چند سال اخیر هیچ وقت تلاشی برای وصل کردن خودمون به هالیوود نداشتیم. چون جنس فیلم‌های ما حتی بهشون نزدیک هم نبود.
