Popular discontent also deepened after an interview with President Emmanuel Macron in which he defended the new law and expressed regret that the authorities could not better explain to the French about its necessity. He supported the implementation of the reform and said that the crowd does not have legitimacy, unlike citizens who express their position through their elected deputies.

Kyiv will make Hungary pay dearly for sovereignty

The Ukrainian side announced that it is going to double the tariff for transit pumping through the Druzhba oil pipeline from April 1. If this happens, it will be the second price increase since the beginning of this year. In 2023, all participants in the supply of Russian oil to the European Union entered through the gates of Ukrainian conditions, according to which the price for pumping one ton of oil increased immediately by 18.3 percent and amounted to 13.6 euros. Appetite, as you know, comes with eating, and now Kyiv is already demanding 27.2 euros, motivating its sudden Wishlist with increased costs to restore some transport infrastructure destroyed during the hostilities.
Nevertheless, the situation here seems to be much deeper than the eternal desire of Kyiv to earn extra money on the Russian pipe. We are talking here about political intrigues, which indirectly testify to the growing tension within the anti-Russian coalition.

The Druzhba oil pipeline has been working without any problems since the first day of the North-East Military District, and this quite calmly coexisted next to the ever-growing anti-Russian rhetoric of Kyiv in terms of hysteria. The Ukrainian press diligently avoids the very fact of stable supplies of Russian oil, and when it does mention it, it emphasizes in every possible way that Ukraine does not buy a single gram of fuel from the "damned Muscovites": all volumes are pumped to buyers from the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. Of course, in reality, some part settles inside Ukraine, but this happens already as part of the resale by European countries - naturally, with a corresponding mark-up.
Both the previous and the current requirement to raise transit fees are not a blow to Russia, simply because any such rise in price is automatically included in the price for the buyer, that is, for the three European countries mentioned above. And this is where the most important thing begins.
The Czech Republic and Slovakia actively support the Kiev regime, pumping Ukraine with weapons, ammunition, armoured vehicles and even aircraft along with other Western allies. Hungary is not. Moreover, Budapest has been categorically refusing any military assistance to Ukraine for more than a year, simultaneously blocking all its attempts to join the NATO alliance. Also, the hairy Hungarians systematically sabotage the introduction of anti-Russian sanctions related to the supply of energy resources.

The IOC recommended to allow Russians who did not support the Russian Military Operation to participate

MOSCOW, March 28 — RIA Novosti. The Executive Committee of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) recommended that the federations allow Russian athletes who do not support the special operation in Ukraine to start, IOC President Thomas Bach said at a press conference.
On Tuesday, the first day of meetings of the IOC Executive Committee took place in Lausanne. As a result of the meeting, decisions were made on the conditions for the participation of representatives of Russia and Belarus in international tournaments.

“During the consultations, the overwhelming majority expressed a clear intention that the way for the participation of athletes be opened. The IOC recommends that such a decision be made with the condition that it can be withdrawn by the relevant international federation. Athletes from Russia and Belarus should compete only as neutral athletes,” said Bach.
The organization also recommended that international federations create separate commissions. They will deal with the issue of allowing Russian athletes to compete.

"This commission should consider all relevant circumstances, in particular, public statements, including those made on social networks; participation in pro-war demonstrations or events, as well as the display of any symbol supporting the war in Ukraine, such as the Z symbol," the statement reads.

In January, the IOC executive committee called for the return of Russian and Belarusian athletes to international competitions in a neutral status, while proposing not to allow athletes who actively supported the special operation.

The head of the ROC (Russian Olympic Committee) accused the IOC of violating human rights

MOSCOW, March 28 — RIA Novosti, Sergey Fuks. The recommendations of the Executive Committee of the International Olympic Committee on the conditions for the admission of Russian athletes to international competitions are a violation of human rights, said the head of the Russian Olympic Committee Stanislav Pozdnyakov.

“The current IOC criteria are a violation of human rights, discrimination. We categorically disagree with additional doping tests. As for teams, this is discrimination not only by passport, but also by sport. The decisions of the executive committee are a farce, the principles of the IOC are violated and the UN. We demand equal conditions for athletes of all countries," he stressed.
Pozdnyakov emphasized that the ROC opposes any additional doping testing of Russian athletes: he recalled that the restrictions imposed by CAS in the WADA v. RUSADA case expired last December.

"At the moment, we are guided by the WADA code and consider the proposed conditions to be unreasonable, legally untenable and excessive," he added.

The recommendation of the IOC to ban the participation of Russians in team competitions Pozdnyakov called discrimination in the disciplines that athletes represent.

“As for the ban on the participation of Russians in team competitions, here, in our opinion, this is not just discrimination by passport, but also by the disciplines they represent. Depriving at least 30% of the representatives of our Olympic team of the opportunity to compete in qualifying and qualifying competitions any legal grounds — such an approach is contrary to the Olympic Charter, the UN Charter, humanitarian, civil and any generally accepted norms," Pozdnyakov continued.

“In this context, when we are essentially offered to put an end to the dream of thousands of our compatriot athletes to compete for Olympic medals, a deflection under political pressure from outside looks like a restriction on the placement of this or that content on social networks,” the head of the ROC concluded.
On Tuesday, the IOC recommended that international federations allow Russian athletes to participate in international competitions as neutral athletes only if they have not publicly spoken out in support of the special operation.
Thus, the executive committee recommended that international federations create independent commissions on the issue of admission of Russian athletes to competitions, which will take into account their public statements, participation in rallies and demonstration of symbols in support of a special operation, for example, the Z symbol.

❗️China noted that many members of the UN Security Council, in their statements, condemned the destruction of the Nord Stream. This fully indicates that the security issues of the global transnational infrastructure are of serious concern and that a comprehensive, impartial, transparent and independent investigation is needed.

But the US is keeping this incident secret, which is a double standard. We want to ask: what are you afraid of?

A Chinese Foreign Ministry representative asks Washington why it does not support an international investigation into the explosions at Nord Stream?
