Trump, speaking on the day of the attacks: "I said how could a plane, even a plane, even a 767 or a 747, or whatever it might've been... how could it possibly go through the steel? I happen to think that they had not only a plane, but they had bombs that exploded almost simultaneously, cuz I just can't imagine anything being able to go through that wall."

Our stories will be lost: 9/11 survivors heartbroken by closing of NYC Tribute Museum

People who are honoring fallen relatives and friends who died during the Sept. 11 attacks will be spending their first year without New York City's 9/11 Tribute Museum in 16 years.

“The thing that [visitors] reflected on the most was learning not only events of the day, and those stories and the memory of the people we lost, but also the rebuilding, the recovery,” museum co-founder Jennifer Adams said. “And then, how many hundreds of foundations, small family foundations that grew out of Sept. 11 that were doing such great work around the world.”

The museum's closing is not stopping the organization …She said she hopes the organization can continue to add video testimonials and stories from 9/11 families, survivors, first responders, and recovery workers.

Climate Hysteria Takes Over as Dutch City Becomes World's First to Ban Meat Ads

The Dutch city of Haarlem, just west of Amsterdam will become the first in the world to ban meat advertisements when the policy goes into effect in 2024.

Joe Biden, John Kerry, and Leonardo DiCaprio were reportedly seen furiously nodding in approval.

Plant Based News, the ban is being instituted to reduce the consumption of meat to lower greenhouse gas emissions by livestock — cow farts!

Ads will be banned on “city buses, shelters, and screens in public.”

These ads join the list of already banned ads on gas-powered cars, flying, and the ‘evil’ fossil fuel industry.

Brace Yourself: Food Shortages Will Be a Reality in the West This Winter

As bad as the agricultural outlook is in America, it is far worse in Europe. The dedication to a green energy suicide pact on the continent is colliding with the news Russia will not ship any fossil fuels until the West lifts sanctions. The skyrocketing energy prices have farmers leaving crops in the fields to die.

In Norway, vegetable farmer Per Odd Gjestvang is leaving his leeks in the field to die because the cost of harvesting and adequately storing them is too high. The electricity prices are leaving many farmers in Norway to abandon their crops, a move that will certainly have a severe impact on food supply. The cost of electricity 16 times higher then it was last year.

The same thing is occurring in Sweden and nearly every Western nation is proposing ways to control nitrogen emissions. Nitrogen is essential to plant growth. Even if a grower uses hydroponic systems, the plant food in the water contains nitrogen. Their arrogance leads to a 21st century Lysenkoism that is anti-science and pro-scarcity.

And American farmers won’t escape the green power grab. “The “Inflation Reduction Act” puts farmers under the control of the EPA to govern nitrogen emissions. Additionally, it allocates $20 billion to fund “climate-smart agricultural practices.” News from Europe helps us to predict how bureaucrats will use this money. Regulators will spend it reducing meat production further, especially beef, and lowering food output by restricting fertilizer and energy from fossil fuels.”

Democrat Katie Hobbs declines Arizona gubernatorial debate with Kari Lake again

Democrat Arizona gubernatorial candidate Katie Hobbs again declined an invitation to debate Republican opponent Kari Lake for a 3rd time on Sunday, ahead of the November election.

Statement from Nicole DeMont, Hobbs campaign manager:

"Unfortunately, debating a conspiracy theorist like Kari Lake – whose entire campaign platform is to cause enormous chaos and make Arizona the subject of national ridicule – would only lead to constant interruptions, pointless distractions, and childish name-calling”

📝 Katie Hobbs wants to avoid a debate with Kari Lake, but Clean Elections rejected her town hall proposal If the campaigns can’t agree to terms in a week, Lake will get a 30-minute Q&A

Climate Lockdowns Are Here

In response to the scorching temperatures, the administration of the University of California, Los Angeles, reverted to a measure widely implemented during the Covid-19 pandemic, asking students, faculty, and staff to work remotely for the week. The policy was necessitated, the college explained, by the heat wave’s “impact on the campus cooling system.”

A few days later, on the other side of the world, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen delivered a speech addressing the escalating energy crisis facing the Continent, for which she blamed “Russian manipulation” as well as climate change. Like the UCLA leadership, van der Leyen returned to the pandemic-era toolkit, urging citizens to “flatten the curve” of energy consumption.

“Keeping the lights on becomes the duty of citizens.”

Much as they did with the virus, policymakers attribute energy shortages in Europe and California to circumstances beyond their control and demand that ordinary people do their part. But this conveniently avoids any assumption of responsibility for escalating conflict with Russia or reducing energy capacity by, for instance, shuttering nuclear plants in favor of less reliable renewables. Keeping the lights on, like preventing hospital overcrowding, becomes the duty of citizens.

More broadly, many influential figures have argued, without explicitly advocating lockdown, that the 2020 response to Covid provides lessons—both positive and negative—for the response to climate change. Those making this case, like Bill Gates, tend to offer the caveat that with climate, we have more time to plan a response than we did with the virus.
