“…Military prosecutors and attorneys for five defendants charged for their roles in the attacks are negotiating potential plea deals that could take the death penalty off the table and keep the detention camp at the military base in Guantánamo Bay, Cuba, open for the foreseeable future.”

According to newly released data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, Americans in 2021 once again spent more on average on taxes than they did on food, clothing and health care combined.

During 2021, according to Table R-1 in the BLS’ Consumer Expenditure Survey, American “consumer units” spent an average of $15,495.28 on food, clothing and health care combined, while paying an average of $16,729.73 in total taxes to federal, state and local governments.

On average in 2021, American consumer units spent $8,289.28 on food; $1,754.39 on clothing (apparel and apparel-related services); and $5,451.61 on health care.

Democrat Katie Hobbs declines Arizona gubernatorial debate with Kari Lake again

Democrat Arizona gubernatorial candidate Katie Hobbs again declined an invitation to debate Republican opponent Kari Lake for a 3rd time on Sunday, ahead of the November election.

Statement from Nicole DeMont, Hobbs campaign manager:

"Unfortunately, debating a conspiracy theorist like Kari Lake – whose entire campaign platform is to cause enormous chaos and make Arizona the subject of national ridicule – would only lead to constant interruptions, pointless distractions, and childish name-calling”

📝 Katie Hobbs wants to avoid a debate with Kari Lake, but Clean Elections rejected her town hall proposal If the campaigns can’t agree to terms in a week, Lake will get a 30-minute Q&A

Climate Lockdowns Are Here

In response to the scorching temperatures, the administration of the University of California, Los Angeles, reverted to a measure widely implemented during the Covid-19 pandemic, asking students, faculty, and staff to work remotely for the week. The policy was necessitated, the college explained, by the heat wave’s “impact on the campus cooling system.”

A few days later, on the other side of the world, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen delivered a speech addressing the escalating energy crisis facing the Continent, for which she blamed “Russian manipulation” as well as climate change. Like the UCLA leadership, van der Leyen returned to the pandemic-era toolkit, urging citizens to “flatten the curve” of energy consumption.

“Keeping the lights on becomes the duty of citizens.”

Much as they did with the virus, policymakers attribute energy shortages in Europe and California to circumstances beyond their control and demand that ordinary people do their part. But this conveniently avoids any assumption of responsibility for escalating conflict with Russia or reducing energy capacity by, for instance, shuttering nuclear plants in favor of less reliable renewables. Keeping the lights on, like preventing hospital overcrowding, becomes the duty of citizens.

More broadly, many influential figures have argued, without explicitly advocating lockdown, that the 2020 response to Covid provides lessons—both positive and negative—for the response to climate change. Those making this case, like Bill Gates, tend to offer the caveat that with climate, we have more time to plan a response than we did with the virus.

‼️Attention to all users‼️

Some Telegram channels have received the label "FAKE" or "SCAM". Also, the accounts of Telegram users who do not violate the rules, do not spam in chats, face the blocking of their accounts.

We consulted with experts who have studied this problem and came to the conclusion that this is because:
1. The channel misleads users, publishes false information.(everything is simple here)
2. The channel owner asks his followers to complain about some other channel. Subscribers write complaints, and problems arise as a result from subscribers themselves or from those channels that call for filing a complaint.

In this regard, we ask you to pay more attention to the appeals of channel owners to complain about any channel.🤔🤔🤔

Big Pharma has been widely criticised for profiteering from the pandemic. We should ask ourselves if we really want to accept a transition from Covid immunity as a one-off purchase to “immunity as a service”. More profoundly, we should ask ourselves if we really want to accept a view of “health” that reimagines our very organisms as structurally dependent on our ongoing willingness to pay a subnoscription to for-profit biotech firms, and the willingness of those firms to keep “supporting” our physical “technology”.

‘Unethical’ and up to 98 Times Worse Than the Disease: Top Scientists Publish Paradigm-Shifting Study About COVID-19 Vaccines

A team of nine experts from Harvard, Johns Hopkins, and other top universities found that for every one COVID hospitalization prevented in young people, “18 to 98 actual serious adverse events” may have been caused by the covid-19 vaccinations.

The paper is co-authored by Dr. Stefan Baral, an epidemiology professor at Johns Hopkins University; surgeon Martin Adel Makary, M.D., a professor at Johns Hopkins known for his books exposing medical malfeasance, and Dr. Vinay Prasad, a hematologist-oncologist, who is a professor in the UCSF Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, as well as the author of over 350 academic and peer-reviewed articles.

But perhaps the most notable author is Salmaan Keshavjee, M.D., Ph.D., current Director of the Harvard Medical School Center for Global Health Delivery, and professor of Global Health and Social Medicine at Harvard Medical School.

A look at the currently available data shows that mandates will result in what the authors call a “net expected harm” to young people. This expected harm will exceed the potential benefit from the boosters.

Forcing vaccination as a prerequisite to attend college is especially problematic because young people injured by these vaccines will likely not be able to receive compensation for these injuries.

Mandates, the authors insisted, ostracize unvaccinated young adults, excluding them from education and university employment opportunities. Coerced vaccination entails “major infringements to free choice of occupation and freedom of association,” the scientists wrote, especially when “mandates are not supported by compelling public health justification.”
