Italian Cardinal Angelo Becciu and nine others will face a Vatican judge over a London property deal worth €350 MILLION.

The Pope fired Becciu last year after a donation to his brother's charity came to light. The cardinal, who arranged the initial investment into the luxury pad, has denied any wrongdoing.

Those accused include the former heads of the Vatican's financial intelligence unit, and two Italian businessmen involved in the Vatican's purchase of the building in an exclusive area of the capital.

Becciu is the highest ranking Vatican-based church official to be charged with alleged financial crimes.

A mutant coronavirus variant has health experts worried its ‘unusual mutations’ could make it resistant to vaccines.

The Lambda strain was first detected in Peru late last year, and has now been found in 27 countries.

Data from tests done on vaccinated frontline workers in South America shows it might be more contagious than the Delta, Alpha and Gamma variants, due to spike protein mutations that make antibodies ineffective.
