Government witness: Carolyn - testifying under her first name only.
Part 1 of several.
Carolyn's testimony will undoubtedly be making headlines today as she describes her sexual encounters with both Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell herself at the age of 14. This is the first witness the Government has called which describes actual sexual activity with Maxwell directly.
She testified that at age 14 she met Virginia Guiffre through a man named "Sean". She was then introduced to Epstein so she could give him a massage, also at age 14. That after about 45 minutes into the massage, Epstein and Virginia began having sex. That she was paid $300 for that massage.
It is unclear from the reporters if Carolyn met Maxwell that same instance, or later on, but she testified that when she met Maxwell, she told her that she was 14 years old.
She also testified that Maxwell removed her clothes and touched her breasts. Called her to invite her to Epstein's island.

UK Helpline Reveals Widespread Sexual Abuse Within British Schools
An investigation has uncovered abuse within the halls of British schools, as over 850 calls were made to a national helpline alleging sexual abuse and harassment, widespread sexism and misogyny. (Guardian)
150 of those calls were allegedly so serious they were referred to police and other agencies to be investigated.
Sexual name-calling, unwanted sexual touching, sexual assault and rape by other pupils are just some of the disturbing things the helpline has uncovered.

Carolyn testified that between the ages of 14 and 18 she went to Jeffrey Epstein's house more than 100 times - two or three times every week because $300 is a lot of money at that age. She would usually see Maxwell there too. She was using the money to buy drugs.
She told Maxwell early on that starting at the age of 4 she'd been molested and raped by her grandfather.
She also introduced 3 of her own friends to Jeffrey Epstein and stopped going to his house when she was 18, after realizing she was too old.
The government asked Carolyn about her life after that involving therapy, time working as a stripper and sex worker.

Today, Special Counsel John Durham informed the Court that records of "five separate government employees" support the indictment against Sussmann.
