Government witness: Carolyn - testifying under her first name only.
Part 2 of several.
Carolyn testified that between the ages of 14 and 18 she went to Jeffrey Epstein's house more than 100 times - two or three times every week because $300 is a lot of money at that age. She would usually see Maxwell there too. She was using the money to buy drugs.
She told Maxwell early on that starting at the age of 4 she'd been molested and raped by her grandfather.
She also introduced 3 of her own friends to Jeffrey Epstein and stopped going to his house when she was 18, after realizing she was too old.
The government asked Carolyn about her life after that involving therapy, time working as a stripper and sex worker.
I will continue sharing these reports here for those who do not/cannot use Twitter.

Important context from another courtroom reporter - Carolyn testified that Maxwell is the one who paid her for the massages.
One of the friends she introduced to Epstein was only 1 year older than her, and Epstein asked her to bring even younger people.

In addition, Maxwell took pictures of her naked and while she engaged with Jeffrey Epstein.
NOTE: The defense team said Carolyn's last name. This is not the first time they said a protected witnesses real identification for the court to hear. Previously the judge had reprimanded them for this. This time it was noted that Judge Nathan said nothing.

Yesterday, Perkins Coie/Hillary Clinton/DNC lawyer Michael Sussmann alleged the case against him was weak.
Today, Special Counsel John Durham informed the Court that records of "five separate government employees" support the indictment against Sussmann.
Durham also alleges that his three interviews with former FBI Counsel Baker "re-affirmed his now clear recollection" of Sussmann's false statements.

The defense makes it known they are trying to impeach yet another witness. This time on the grounds of her testimony being "inconsistent by omission". They use a previous case Carolyn had been involved in with one of Maxwell's assistants, Sarah Kellen, who has been mentioned in previous testimony during this trial and who appears on many of Epstein's flight records.
The defense is claiming that because her previous complaints against Kellen did not include Maxwell, and during this trial against Maxwell, Kellen is not being mentioned, that makes her testimony inconsistent. The judge disagreed and allowed Carolyn to continue testifying.

The rest of the reports regarding this witnesses testimony are difficult to decipher. It would appear that during Prosecutor Comey's re-direct, the defense was allowed to interject and ask the witness multiple questions. This is not typical courtroom behavior.
One of those questions was regarding Carolyn seeing pictures of Maxwell naked and pregnant.
HUGE NOTE: Today the US prosecution team announced they would REST THEIR CASE THIS WEEK. This trial had been going on for less than 2 weeks and during pre-trial discussions, they had anticipated a 6 week trial. The prosecution is resting much sooner than anticipated and all of the reporters I'm following seem alarmed and frustrated by this announcement, saying the trial feels "staged and suppressed".
