Any teacher you encounter should be enabling you to take what you learn and go out on your own to use it and teach it to others. They should be enabling you; not trying to keep you…
And certainly not trying to take credit for the knowledge they are GIVING you. If there are strings attached, it is not a gift. And if it’s not a gift, then they are trying to lay claim to it and ownership of it. In some instances, that is ok. In Universal Truths, it is not.
In spiritual relationships, there should NEVER be an arrangement where you need the teacher and/or the school as a constant, continuing part of your life. The goal should always be to teach you to fly.

I learned something really significant for myself today and I want to share it in the hopes that it might help someone else.
I have lived under the oppressive influence of a narcissistic mother for my entire life. Over the past few years I have come to understand the depths of that influence. The damage it has done and the pain and confusion it has caused.
Today, I finally aired many of the things that had been weighing on my heart. I knew she wouldn’t be able to actually hear me or accept what I said, but I did it anyway from a place of honesty. Sure enough, she proved that she didn’t hear or accept a fucking word of it 😂
But guess what happened? My depression lifted. I happily went out for some exercise- something I had been denying myself and struggling with for months.
And as soon as I said what I needed to say, the lead weights on me lifted and I immediately felt better and more energetic than I have in a long time.
My message is this: whatever you need to say, say it. As kindly as you can manage. It doesn’t matter what happens after that; you will be freed from the bondage of unspoken Truth.

The cage is the one we place around ourselves when restrict our expression.
We were designed to express. It is in our expression, using our innate senses to influence our dominant senses, that we allow the energy we feel within to flow out to the world around us.
Touch. Sound. Art. Speaking your truth. Music. Poetry.
All forms we express through. All forms we were designed to express through.
To withhold our innermost ex-pressions is to de-press ourselves.
The more we suppress that need to ex-press, the deeper we get de-pressed.

Ok. So now that I’m feeling more like my happy, creative Self…😇
I want to address some comments I saw on another channel recently. (And I don’t even remember which one, so I couldn’t tell you. It’s not important anyway).
People were expressing their feelings of sadness, grief and outright despair over phrases like “No one is coming to save you” and “You are your own savior”. They were confused and angry and afraid.
And I felt for them. I really did, but in reading their comments, (there were dozens) I realized that this a huge part of why this Awakening process cannot be a giant blast of cold water in people’s faces. They cannot just be told “the Truth” because they are not ready. And the Truth that I’m referring to here is just one example of many but most of it works the same way.
If you don’t realize for your SELF that you are your own Savior, someone coming along and saying that to you is very destabilizing. And I don’t think it’s in a good way. It’s in a way that just makes you cling even harder to your conditioned ways of thinking. It’s a bit like taking a child’s beloved blankie away and telling them that they don’t need it and that they’re perfectly capable of functioning without it.
That may be true, but if the child believes in that “Woobie”, taking it away before the child realizes he or she doesn’t need it, is traumatic. And, frankly, cruel.
So for everyone out there who thinks the best way to go about awakening folks is to yank away the blanket or the rug from under them, I guess I’d have to beg to differ. The despair I heard from the people who were trying to reconcile the idea that “no one is coming” or that their God is not real in the way that they thought, was truly gut-wrenching.
You can’t actually be your own Savior until you figure it out first yourSelf and you Know it deep within you.
That takes time.
That takes Healing.
That takes those of us who DO Know being patient af 😉
And embodying what we Know.
The Truth is the Truth. That doesn’t change. What matters is whether or not people have a framework within themSelves in which to place it!
