I have updated the name of this channel.

Truth is....I've been outgrowing the "warrior mom" for a couple years now.

With everything that's happened recently, I feel like I need to really stop holding on to things I know are in my way.

And a couple years ago, a book was published using the name "the warrior mom" after I'd already been using that name for some time online.

As I publish my books, I want a clean path ahead for myself where I'm not going to have this friction of being confused with another author or another book and I just don't see "warrior mom" fitting into the picture anymore.

So when I opened a book I've been reading at exactly 333 today and saw the word I'd already been contemplating and turning over and over for days now.... "Embers".....

I knew it was time. Today. Now. I'm never going to feel whole again after losing my brother. But I can take those broken wings and still learn to fly as he would have wanted.

So today I close the chapter on The Warrior Mom.

And I turn the page. To me. Ash. Here is where I'll be sharing embers from me. Things that light me up. Or things that I'm transmuting.

As always, the only thing I really ever want people to take from ME.....is to learn how to trust and love themselves for all of what makes them who they are
No matter how scary or how unready or how messy we feel while doing it. Whatever it is.
