I want to share this info on Narcissism bc I’ve found this woman’s podcasts to be incredibly helpful for understanding the deep motivations behind the disorder.
This is a conglomeration of many of her best pieces. If anyone is struggling with this issue right now, (and it seems this a HUGE issue that’s being exposed as the energies shift) I think you’ll find this to be very useful.

Important bit of understanding about narcissists. They don’t fall in love with themselves. In fact, most actually loathe themselves.
They fall in love with their reflection.
The reflection they see in the mirrors all around them is what they become obsessed with.
How they appear is what matters. To others, yes, but most importantly to themselves.
It soothes their deep seated belief that they are not worthy. Not good enough. Very, very not OK.
The people they abuse are not actually people to them. They are mirrors; simple tools to use to examine their own reflection. And when the mirror no longer shows them what they wish to see, they will break it.

Another thought on the narcissism stuff…
If you haven’t been through this personally, it’s very unlikely that you actually understand how it works.
And I’m not saying that to be a dick. I just want to point out that it’s a COMPLICATED issue and if someone is dealing with it, especially in its Covert form, it’s very confusing and destabilizing.
A lot of folks are tossing around the buzzwords lately: “narcissist”, “gaslighting”, “narcissistic supply”, etc. And it’s clear that a lot of the time, it’s just being used as some kind of adjective to describe someone’s behavior but the person is not fundamentally “a narcissist” with the full-blown disorder.
Please understand that this disorder is rooted in DEEP shame, fear and trauma and is not at all what it appears to be on the surface. That’s not to make excuses for the behavior, but to point out just how deep-seated and dangerous it is to underestimate these people. We don’t need to fear them, but actually understanding the dynamic can be very helpful. And Healing.
If you are trying to help someone else through this issue, but you haven’t ACTUALLY experienced it, please consider listening to the info I’ve posted above and searching this channel for narcissism, narcissists, NPD etc.
You may be doing more harm than good without realizing it 🫶

For anyone looking to celebrate the 12 Days of Yule, they begin on December 20th with Mothers Night and carry on through to the first of the new year with Yule Night.

We’ve covered a lot over the years, and I’m going to repeat something here bc I think it’s very important to understand as we pass through the gateway to the 12 Days of Yule…

As you probably already know, tomorrow, December 21st, is the Winter Solstice. This is the point on the Wheel of the Year where the Dark of Night is longest and the Light of Day is the shortest. We are literally in the pit of Darkness. The Underworld, as far as the Cycle of the Year goes.
At this point, the Sun appears to come to a standstill for 3 days. The word “solstice” in Latin actually means that the sun stops. Solar = sun and sisto or sistere = stop or to set up.
Now, connect the concept that the Sun lies in a tomb for 3 days. It is the end of the Light and ALSO its beginning as it is Born again after this transition. This is the Nature of the Wheel at work.
The End is the Beginning.
Always.
The Sun, which is quite literally our Savior in physical terms, is Born to start a New Year and to, once again, show us the path of Enlightenment and the course of Life itself. From Birth to Death, the Wheel shows us all.
As the SunSon is Born and the days get longer, it rises up as Capricorn, the Goat. Eager and sure-footed, climbing up out of the Darkness and bringing us towards the promised Spring where the Earth will burst forth with Life and Energy at the Vernal Equinox.
As a young ram in Aries, it will be headstrong and eager to start new things. The Earth becomes impregnated with life and vitality and carries that through the height of the Summer Solstice. As it reaches the sign of Leo (obviously I’m greatly condensing all of this) it reaches the maturity of its power and strength. The firey mane of the great Lion shines forth as a sign for all to see his halo of power.
Not long after, however, the Sun reaches the scales of Libra and at the Autumn Equinox we Fall again into another Winter as the Light fades and the Darkness grows. The Sun will be stung by the tail of Scorpio and finished off by Sagittarius’ arrow and will once again end up in the tomb.
And the Wheel will continue to turn.
Please know that the mythology we’ve been taught has always been a way to convey deep, Natural Truths that hold Divine meaning. Unfortunately, those stories have been twisted and the keys to their understanding have been hidden from us such that we’ve been left with fairy tales we are told are literal and historical, when they actually hold much more beautiful messages for us.
All of these myths and allegories have many, many layers of meaning and the symbology embedded within them takes a lifetime (or many) to unpack and understand - to gain Gnosis of all of it.
I wish you well on your Journey. May the Great Spirit that flows through All guide you in all your endeavors and may your Yuletide be Blessed.
