I’m representing Education Otherwise™ and others in action groups who are organising a mass petition against the school bill. If the Bill is enacted, it will take away the freedom to home educate our children. The Local Authorities will have unlimited powers to interfere with private families' life. They can also issue the School Attendance Order, which cannot be appealed (practically an ‘imprisonment’ order for a child to stay in school for the rest of their school years).
