If a nation is so tyrannical as to not wish it's young men to purchase and possess the means to fight invading armies, then that nation deserves to be trampled upon by its enemies, have its cities pillaged and its people defiled and murdered, for they are already ruled over by men and worse even shameful enough to be ruled and judged by women too who are both hateful foreigners to their own nations if they fear the people overthrowing them if but only they had the arms to fight with.

This is trending on twitter rn, and the audience is split, with some calling it corporal punishment and others claiming it’s abuse. I fall into the latter crowd.
It's not the punishment per se, it's the woman's blind, uncontrolled rage that transforms it into abuse. I got a few spankings as a kid. I definitely deserved the ones I got, and my dad never raised his hand to me in anger for a single one of them. They were delivered calmly, rationally, and with my full understanding of why I was receiving the deserved punishment. I have thankfully never been subjected to such a psychotic outburst of violence by anyone in my family.
One of the many reasons single mother households are so utterly poisonous is that most women, without the tempering, judicious, rational direction of a patriarch, cannot handle stress or negative emotions without breaking, and either eschew punishment altogether or transform into this kind of psychopathic monster that simply beats and screams out of pure, emotional fury, teaching nothing.
Also, imagine if this were a little girl of the same age. All the apologizers would suddenly be losing their minds. But they don't care, because it's a boy being hit by a woman.
Nicole Staples, a teacher at Cottage Hill Christian Academy in Mobile, Alabama, has been arrested on charges of willful abuse of a child under 18 after a viral video surfaced showing her striking a young boy more than 20 times with a belt, yelling obscenities, and physically manhandling him by his hair.
The school has since fired her and is cooperating with authorities in the ongoing investigation.
*note: it’s apparently his biological mother, but I’m not 100% certain.
