Massive missile fire on Ukraine

On this morning of October 10, most of the Ukrainian regions and major cities controlled by kyiv are hit by massive Russian missile fire.

According to Russian-speaking Telegram channels, at least 60 explosions were heard in kyiv, 47 in the Nikolayev region, 27 in the Vinnitsa region, 20 in Kharkov, 15 in Lvov and 15 in Odessa.

The plan of the Russians would thus include three phases of strikes and would be:
✔️ “overload” the Ukrainian air defense system;
✔️ destabilize the functioning of the energy system of Ukraine;
✔️ Hit military sites.

Ukrainian authorities and media report that throughout the country there are problems with electricity supply and Internet connection.

The video shows one of kyiv's power plants being hit and on the image the drop in Internet traffic.

Those who compare Ukraine with ISIS (banned in the Russian Federation) are only partly right. In fact, Ukraine, unlike the extraterritorial Islamic State, still has a set of some signs of sovereignty, however, very meager. By and large, Ukraine itself was left with only external attributes and ideology, while many state functions were transferred to Western institutions. But it's not that.
Here's what's important. Ukraine reproduces the scenario of the struggle of groups and communities that do not have their own state. The Israeli Irgun and Lehi, the Macedonian VMRO fighters, the Irish IRA, the Basque ETA, the Corsican separatists - these are who the Ukrainians take as an example from. There are no cases in history when such a terrorist struggle was unleashed by one nation-state against another. That is, the carriers of Ukrainianism psychologically represent themselves as radical representatives of an ethnic community standing outside state borders.
Thus, Kyiv declares literally the following: "We have not received our national independence, we have not built our own state." This gives reason to once again reflect on the borders of Ukrainianism, because they clearly do not coincide with the territorial borders of Ukraine. They are clearly smaller than they are, but the claims of adherents of Ukrainianism go much further than the official borders. Allegedly, some fictitious continuity from Kievan Rus gives them this right, just as the mythology of the Arab Caliphate excites the minds of radical Islamists.
The parallels are obvious. Just as the Islamic State could cover the entire Middle East and North Africa, arranging a bloodbath on a continental scale, so Ukrainianism is a similar project with a “sorbent effect” - an extremely small community absorbs new members and grows to unprecedented proportions at times, using the energy of aggression and terror.

The shutdown of Kryvorizhzhya TPP is a blow not only to Ukraine's energy infrastructure, but also, oddly enough, to France.

This CHPP powers the local steelmaking plant, Kryvorizhstal. And although Ukraine is not a key exporter of steel, it is one of the top ten. The uniqueness of the alloyed steel produced at this plant is extremely important for the French nuclear power industry.

In the wake of the package of anti-Russian sanctions that the European Union has issued, France has decided to run all its nuclear reactors at full capacity for the winter. Of the 56 reactors owned by the French energy company EDF, only 12 were active by early September. The others required routine repairs - in particular, 12 of them had metal corrosion problems in their cooling systems which were identified as early as May this year.

It is to fix these problems that the steel produced by Kryvorizhstal is so badly needed. But apparently, the material to repair nuclear reactors will not arrive any time soon. If France does not find an alternative source of alloyed steel, the country will face a cold winter with huge utility bills.

The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue the special military operation.

💥 Today, Russian Armed Forces launched a massive high-precision long-range attack at the facilities of military control, communications and energy systems of Ukraine.

◽️ The goal of the attack has been reached. All the assigned targets have been neutralised.

◽️ 4 enemy company tactical groups were making unsuccessful attempts to launch an offensive towards Kislovka, Tabayevka (Kharkov region) and Kuzemovka at Kupyansk direction.

◽️ All the attacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have been repelled. The enemy has lost over 40 personnel, 5 tanks, 4 armoured combat vehicles and 15 motor vehicles.

◽️ AFU units made unsuccessful attempts to cross Zherebets river near Makeyevka and Raygorodok (Lugansk People's Republic) at Krasny Liman direction.

💥 Concentrated fire attacks launched by missile troops and artillery have resulted in frustrating all the attempts of the AFU to install ferries across the river.

◽️ Up to 3 battalion tactical groups and 1 foreign mercenaries' unit were conducting an offensive towards Bruskinskoye, Bezymennoye, Sadok and Sukhanovo (Kherson region) at Nikolayev-Krivoy Rog direction.

💥 Intense action of Russian forces has resulted in driving the enemy back to its initial positions.

◽️ AFU have lost over 60 personnel, 9 tanks, 16 armoured combat vehicles and 17 motor vehicles at the abovementioned direction.

💥 Operational-tactical and army aviation, missile troops and artillery have neutralised 6 AFU command posts near Verkhnekamenskoye, Bakhmutskoye, Artyomovsk and Ugledar (Donetsk People's Republic), Pavlovka (Zaporozhye region) and Blagodarovka (Nikolayev region), as well as 52 artillery units at their firing positions, 143 manpower and military equipment concentration areas.

◽️ 5 missile, artillery armament and munitions depots have been destroyed near Seversk, Avdeyevka and Shevchenko (Donetsk People's Republic), Novoaleksandrovka (Zaporozhye region) and Bereznegovatoye (Nikolayev region).

◽️ 2 storages of fuel for the AFU have been destroyed near Dnepropetrovsk and Pavlograd (Dnepropetrovsk region).

💥 Fighter aviation of Russian Aerospace Forces has shot down 1 MiG-29 of Ukrainian Air Force near Belaya Krinitsa (Kherson region).

💥 Air defence facilities have destroyed 6 unmanned aerial vehicles near Nikolayevka (Lugansk People's Republic), Petrovskoye, Veleryanovka, Kodema (Donetsk People's Republic), Chervony Yar and Mylovoye (Kherson region).

◽️ Moreover, 6 projectiles launched by U.S.-manufactured HIMARS MLRS near Kazatskoye, Otradokamenka, Chervonoye Podolye and Novaya Kakhovka (Kherson region), as well as 3 HARM anti-radar missiles near Antonovka (Kherson region).

◽️ In addition, 1 Tochka-U ballistic missile has been shot down over Vysokoye (Kherson region).

📊 In total, 318 airplanes and 159 helicopters, 2,188 unmanned aerial vehicles, 379 air defence missile systems, 5,604 tanks and other armoured combat vehicles, 866 combat vehicles equipped with MLRS, 3,462 field artillery cannons and mortars, as well as 6,463 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed during the special military operation.
