#Rumors
Our source reports that urgent meetings were held in the Office of the President, the Government and the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine on the topic of ongoing missile attacks on strategic infrastructure, which threatens to collapse in the energy sector. Cases of preventing emergencies, shutting down the entire energy system, the impact of the energy case on the logistics of the army, how this will affect factories and workshops for the repair and modernization of military equipment were discussed, and in general, a wide range of questions were raised, what are the consequences for Ukraine if everything is “turned off”.
Power engineers gave disappointing forecasts.
In a negative scenario, everything in the country will stop. Banks, servers, communications, TV, logistics, etc. The shadow economy will grow. This is a loss of up to 70% of the country's income per month (about UAH 100 billion). The hryvnia will collapse (from 50 to 100 UAH per dollar), hyperinflation will accelerate prices to space.
Now only about 15% of the total system is damaged, which is expensive, but really fixable. If the attacks continue monotonously, then the percentage will increase, and when 60% damage is reached, the system may “cover up”. It all depends on what kind of "pain points" of the energy system, the Russians will hit.
The loss of the energy system will lead to a shortage of fuel. A deeper and more protracted fuel crisis will begin.
In short, everything is bad.
Solution: about a hundred air defense installations, and this is about $ 20 billion, just to try to cover important energy facilities, and even then not 100%.

A must share from Maria Zakharova today:
"Josep Borrell, at a meeting with EU ambassadors, said: “Our well-being was based on cheap energy from Russia ... People do not yet realize the fact that Russia and China will no longer be what they were for the development of our economy, this requires its serious restructuring” .
The head of the EU diplomacy forgot to add that the EU lost all this thanks to its own political elite and the large army of European bureaucrats acting in the interests of the United States. Brussels made the whole crisis around Ukraine by itself, with its own hands.
Mr. Borrell, catch a photo of your predecessor having fun on the Maidan during the anti-constitutional coup committed in Ukraine with the direct intervention of the EU and the USA.
Catherine Ashton, aka Baroness Ashton of Upholland, the representative of Britain, who at that time led ALL EU diplomacy. A subject of the regime, which preferred to leave the sinking EU ship in advance. And now, according to the old Anglo-Saxon tradition, he watches from afar the convulsions of Brussels. And for what they have done."

By @colonelcassad:
"On the morning of October 11, the enemy reports that so far he has not been able to restore power supply to more than 300 settlements. It is quite clear that it is impossible to completely deprive Ukraine of energy without strikes against substations and power lines connected with nuclear power plants, which, however, fits into the concept of a warning strike announced yesterday by Putin.
As long as the nuclear power plants are intact, Ukraine has the opportunity, through the redistribution of power, to restore the supply of electricity to large cities, partially compensating for the loss of various substations and thermal power plants with associated rolling blackouts and calls to use less electricity, coupled with the cessation of electricity supplies to Europe.
1-2 days of strikes in the style of "Surovikin's Coming to Work Day" will certainly not destroy the Ukrainian energy sector. With complex strikes within 2-3 weeks, including the infrastructure of nuclear power plants, Ukraine's ability to compensate for the loss of generating capacity will be lost, which will be especially critical in the coming winter."

Mainstream media couldn’t possibly defend the Ukrainian terror tactics that I saw unfold tonight — instead, they will simply ignore it. Sadly, the people of Donetsk don’t have the luxury of looking the other way.

⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦💡 Russian Armed Forces Strikes on Ukraine's Energy System - 10 October 2022⚡️
On the morning of 10 October, Russian forces carried out massive missile attacks on energy facilities in the eastern, central and western regions of Ukraine.
Twelve hours after the attack, Rybar's team analysed open-source data and refined the list of sites reliably hit by fire:
▪️ Kiev: Kiev TPP-5, TPP-6, Darnitsa TPP, Vokzalna 110kV substation, Tripolskaya TPP.
▪️ Zhytomyr: Zhytomyr 330/110 kV substation.
▪️ Khmelnitsky: Khmelnitskaya 330/110 kV substation.
▪️ Ternopil: Ternopil 330/110/35 kV substation.
▪️ Lvov: Lvov TPP-1, substation Lviv-Yuzhnaya 330/220/110 kV.
▪️ Ivano-Frankivsk: Burshtynskaya TPP.
▪️ Sumy: Konotop 330 kV substation.
▪️ Poltava: Kremenchug 330/154/35/10 kV substation.
▪️ Dnipropetrovsk: Pridneprovskaya TPP.
▪️ Krivoy Rog: Krivoy Rog TPP.
▪️ Kharkov: CHPP-5, Zmiivska TPP, Zalyutino 330/110/35 kV substation.
❓ What conclusions can be drawn from the results of the strikes?
🔻 The main thermal power plants and thermal power plants, as well as substations with a voltage level of 330kV were targeted.
🔻 None of the strikes targeted 750kV facilities, let alone nuclear and hydro power plants. This clearly shows that the attack did not aim at the complete destruction of the entire power grid, but was intended to cause only limited damage.
Nevertheless, the massive missile attack by Russian forces left entire regions and cities with millions of inhabitants without electricity for half a day. It showed the vulnerability of the Ukrainian energy system to attacks by Russian forces and the inability of Ukrainian air defences to repel such attacks.
❓ Could more have been done? Certainly
The 10 October attack was relatively harmless and did not affect all critical infrastructure. Already tomorrow or the day after, the energy sector will set up emergency circuits in the substations and ramp up the generators of the nuclear power plants to maximum power. After that, the authorities in Kiev will make triumphant speeches about the full restoration of power supply.
There is only one nuance: the strikes have severely affected the reliability of Ukraine's power system. And it is very likely that it will not survive another such assault: The unified grid will collapse and turn into individual small island areas around power plants. The rest of the country will simply sink into darkness.
❗️ Let us repeat: If the goal is to overload the Ukrainian energy system in order to prolong panic among the population, lower the morale of the AFU and win the battlefield, such actions should be repeated.
