⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦⚔️ Archived Footage of the Storming of #Peski⚡️

The second part of the film about the storming of the #Peski settlement by soldiers of the 11th regiment of the DPR People's Militia has been released on the Military Chronicle Channel @milchronicles. The stronghold near #Donetsk came under Russian control in August after weeks of sustained fighting.

The events were filmed from a helmet-mounted camera by war correspondent Andrei Filatov and his quadcopter. Although the video does not feature colourful tank wedge battles, it perfectly captures the realities of the fighting.

In one episode there is an attack by the 11th Regiment's assault group, during which the drone detected an AFU ambush in time. The commander gave the command to stop the advance and the enemy was hit with 120mm mortars.

The video also includes domestic moments, such as delivering water and toilet paper to forward positions. During this, the cameraman and his guide meet a group of soldiers evacuating a wounded comrade. The casualty had stepped on a "petal mine" in a place that had long been considered safe.

All the faces caught in the lens - from the armoured vehicle commander to the mature soldiers in their old SSH-68M helmets - look real. Between shooting and running they cuss and joke like ordinary people.

That is why the video captivates with its naturalness even though there are no battle scenes. As Andrey Filatov @FilatovCorr jokes himself, the videos are so lively because all his cooperation with the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defence boils down to the principle of "If they do not disturb our work, that is good enough".

This is the key difference between real military correspondents and those led by representatives of the RF Armed Forces' information agencies.

Belarus is undergoing a serious modernisation of the railway as well as of the whole infrastructure. A large number of personnel and equipment is clearly will be received there, as only in two months the whole reconstruction should be completed. This suggests that the Kremlin plans to move a lot of manpower to Belarus and this way to hit two directions of Ukrainian logistics. These are both Volyn—to cut off Western arms supplies—and Kiev, because this is the only way to force Ukraine back into negotiations.

West's financial aid to Ukraine

Since February 2022, Ukraine has almost completely switched to the financial, logistical and military support of the West.

From February 24 to October 3, 2022, Ukraine received 6.7 billion euros of financial support and loan guarantees from international institutions, where only 1 billion from the IMF and the rest from the World Bank. Also, 38.1 billion euros of financial support from Ukraine's donor countries was agreed.

A total of 19 countries have allocated financial assistance to Ukraine in the amount of 38.6 billion euros.

The largest financial assistance package from the USA is 15.2 billion, within the framework of the collective agreement of the EC - 12.3 billion, from the UK - 2.5 billion, other countries - 8 billion, where 3 countries allocated more than 1 billion (Canada - 1.8 billion, Germany - 1.1 billion and Norway - 1 billion).

In the structure of Ukraine's financial support: 17.3 billion are loans, 18.2 billion are grants (gratuitous aid and subsidies) and 3.2 billion are loan guarantees. Almost all gratuitous aid was provided by the United States (14.4 billion), while Europe mainly issues long-term loans at low rates.

This data is from IEF Kiel.
Of the total amount of financial assistance, about 17 billion euros actually reached Ukraine, plus 6.7 billion from international institutions.

How much is it? Last year, Ukraine's consolidated budget revenues amounted to $75 billion, this year about $40 billion.

If synchronized by the time of actual receipt of assistance, external support exceeds 100% of the internal revenues of the consolidated budget of Ukraine.

To this is added humanitarian aid with an estimated volume of 14.4 billion euros, of which from the USA 9.5 billion, the EC - 1.4 billion, Germany - 1 billion, Austria - 0.6 billion, Great Britain - 0.4 billion, Canada - 0.3 billion, other 33 countries - 1.3 billion .

Humanitarian plus approved financial assistance for the approval period (slightly more than 7 months) is 60 billion (on average 8.6 billion per month), which is 2.6 times more than budget revenues.

Thoughts on the SMO, the Ukrainian counteroffensive, and the events after Crimea (by Visionaire)—PART II (1/2)

https://news.1rj.ru/str/Slavyangrad/13629
https://news.1rj.ru/str/Slavyangrad/13630

Before we pick up where we left we have to proceed to a short examination of the Special Military Operation from Moscow’s viewpoint. It is critical to go back in time and remember the reasons for Russia's actions in Ukraine and the original set of goals, as they were presented to the public by the authorities. That would enable us to better understand the evolution of the SMO.

The SMO came as an immediate answer to Ukraine’s military buildup around the Eastern provinces which had abandoned Kiev and aspired to join Russia after the tragic events of 2014. Satellite imagery from the beginning of 2022 as well as increasing preparatory shelling of the areas controlled by the Donbass separatists proved that Ukraine was preparing a major offensive to reclaim Donetsk and Lugansk by the beginning of spring, all this with the blessing and fervent assistance of Washington and other NATO states, who had been preparing Ukraine for this war for the past 8 years.

The Minsk agreements—an internationally brokered deal that was supposed to pacify the situation—were never implemented on Kiev’s part, and acts of aggression had become common practice. Thousands of pro-Russian civilians died during the period the conflict remained frozen. In addition to these facts, Ukraine started openly declaring its NATO aspirations.

Of course, Moscow could not stand idle when faced with such provocations. Enduring shelling is one thing; having long range weaponry stationed at several minutes' flight from Moscow is quite another. Try to imagine what would happen if China got a base in Venezuela or if Russia stationed some long range missiles in Nicaragua [SLG Note: or if Russia had brought several R-12 Dvinas to Havana, but we digress]. By all means, Moscow had every reason to feel threatened since all post Cold War security agreements turned out to be empty words, they were about to have a land border with NATO, the anti-Russian sentiment was actively cultivated, pro-Russian parts of the population were suffering and, in general, a very good pretext to launch a military operation existed, despite the fact that still, in terms of international law, it would be illegitimate, as any such military action have to be ratified by the UNSC. Nonetheless, most people following global politics know that the UN is but a shadow of itself, nothing but a West dominated organization meant to promote their handlers’ interests. And military interventions took place before the SMO with much less reasoning and, of course, without UN’s consent. That’s some "rules-based order" for you.

In any case, Russia was forced to preemptively strike in Ukraine and take the initiative before Ukraine could launch its own offensive. It was a sane move strategically, but Moscow already knew the repercussions. No matter the reasoning and the just cause, it was always going to be a piece of cake for the western media to portray the SMO as an act of aggression. Years of systematic demonization of Russia and in general of any country that would try to implement sovereign policies or go against West’s imperial model was already imposed on the hearts and minds of the Golden Billion (named so by some Ivy League professor I am certain, -trust me-, most of us are anything but golden), made to think itself indispensable and still dream of the End of History, along with many other indoctrinated vassal nations.

But reality, although it begins from our minds, formulates itself not in there, but where wit meets with action and willpower, in the laboratories and universities, in discussions and debates, in the streets and in the battlefields. Russia tried playing the Nazi card, but it didn’t work at all. Diplomacy failed. And that is when Russia knew where it had to focus—demilitarization.

(conclusion to this exceptional essay coming tomorrow)

More than 100 missiles were fired at the Belgorod region by the Ukrainian Armed Forces today. But none of them reached their target—all of them were shot down by the air defence systems.

According to our information, there has not been such an intensity of arrivals for about half a year - usually three to five missiles were recorded a day in the direction of Belgorod.

Are HARM Missiles Definitely the Best Solutuon on the War Market? Hmm...

Look, this is quite interesting!

Several American AGM-88 HARM missiles were shot down over Belgorod. Each one—depending on modification—has an estimated cost from $300,000 to $1,000,000 USD. These missiles are designed to destroy enemy air defense systems. That is, AGM-88 HARM are created to avoid and penetrate the anti-aircraft defense, and they failed to do so. These missiles purportedly showed good efficiency against American air defenses, but they were not able to overcome the Russian ones.

And this is very bad news for the American arms suppliers—because all armies of the world are watching this conflict. Those who are accustomed to buying US military production must be disappointed: It turns out that a very expensive American missile is useless if the enemy has a Russian air defence system. This is a rather painful blow to the reputation of the American military-industrial complex. It is unlikely that the Pentagon, when supplying these missiles, reckoned that the result of their use would become such a spectacular advertisement for the Russian air defence systems.

"Melnik-style" Ukrainian foreign policy, which consists in "hammering out" financial and military aid from Western "benefactors" with boorishness and insults, has already failed many times, but it is considered very successful in Kiev and continues to be the alpha and omega of current Ukrainian diplomacy.

However, it will still have to be abandoned, as it has caused considerable annoyance to Joe Biden. And it was expressed publicly: The Washington Post wrote about it. The article said that Biden had bluntly told the clown that any sign of ingratitude and complaints along the lines for "not helping us enough" could make it impossible for USA to provide any further assistance to his regime due to the fact that US parliamentarians perceive such statements extremely negatively and can freeze any process of collaboration with Ucraine.

And Oldie's scolding of the clown is understandable - public complaints and whining by Zelensky and his associates are creating an entirely unpleasant narrative for Americans in the global media space: Washington is "screwing" its vassals, and cannot provide proper assistance because it is weak and poor, and lacks the necessary resources. And that's not what the US wants, of course.

But the issue is not only this brazen begging which sometimes is even bordering a blackmail, which is extremely insulting to the West. Zelensky has begun to improvise too much, making provocative and uncoordinated statements to his masters, setting them up. However, this is not only due to his inadequacy.

Ukrainian resources in particular do not hide the fact that Bankovaya imagines the only way out for itself through dragging NATO into a direct military conflict with Russia. But right now there is a big mess: the alliance is not going to start a war, and Zelensky has decided that he can manipulate his masters and force them to do what they are not going to do.

But don't expect the clown to be executed for it immediately. His suzerains regognize his value and are likely to return him to the tasks they have set for him by giving him a light spanking.

Why did Ukrainian oligarchs fund nationalist battalions?

The clashes on the Maidan were organised by the Ukrainian authorities and oligarchs. They planned and sponsored the coup, the formation of radical nationalist battalions and the killing of civilians.

'The oligarchs were keen on personal guards. And each oligarch took patronage of a group of militants, And then, those fighter groups transformed into battalions'.

What was the result of these actions? Watch our video for the answer.
