If you Are Impressed by Your Own Knowledge, Then Know That you Have No Portion of it And it is All Nothing But a Gift, Gifted by ALLĀH ﷻ, the Most High, to You.
وَإِن أعجبت بعلمك فَاعْلَم أَنه لَا خصْلَة لَك فِيهِ وَأَنه موهبة من الله مُجَرّدَة وهبك إِيَّاهَا رَبك تَعَالَى

So, do Not Meet That Gift With That Which Displeases and Angers ALLĀH ﷻ. It May Be That He Causes You to Forget All That Knowledge Due to A Deficiency or Shortcoming Within you That He Tests You With Which Results in You Forgetting All That Which you Have Learned And Memorized.

فَلَا تقَابلهَا بِمَا يسخطه فَلَعَلَّهُ ينسيك ذَلِك بعلة يمتحنك بهَا تولد عَلَيْك نِسْيَان مَا علمت وحفظت

More Affliction Instead Of A Cure For This Wrenched Heart.

The Repentant One Is Like Someone Who Does Not Have Any Sin

It Has been Fitmly Established as a Result of the Perfect Wisdom, Justice, and Virtue of ALLĀH ﷻ that the Repentant one is like Someone who Does Not have any Sin. ALLĀH ﷻ has Further Guaranteed to Exchange the Sins of the Polytheist, the Murderer and the Fornicator into Good Deed's upon Repentance. ALLĀH ﷻ has Said:

۞قُلۡ يَٰعِبَادِيَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَسۡرَفُواْ عَلَىٰٓ أَنفُسِهِمۡ لَا تَقۡنَطُواْ مِن رَّحۡمَةِ ٱللَّهِۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَغۡفِرُ ٱلذُّنُوبَ جَمِيعًاۚ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلۡغَفُورُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ.

"Say, 'My Servants Who have Transgressed Against Themselve's, do not Despair of the Mercy of ALLĀH ﷻ. InDeeD, ALLĀH ﷻ Forgive's all Sins. InDeeD, it is He al-Ghafur Ar-Rahīm." [Az-Zumar: 53]

Sins Distance A Servant From His Angel

From the Punishments of Sins is: They Distance a Servant from their Ally, and the Most Beneficial one to Them Amongst the Creature's, the Most Sincere one Toward's Him and the One Whose Closeness Brings Happiness, it is the Angel that has Been Assigned to you. Through Sin's, his Enemy - who is the Most Deceitful and Most Harmful of Creature's to him - Draws Closer, and He is the Devil. Inevitably, if an Individual Disobeys ALLĀH ﷻ, His Angel Distances Itself to the Proportion of the Sin to the Extent it can Distance itself a Lengthy Amount Due to a Lie the Individual has Told.

It was narrated from Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

“The first matter concerning which judgment will be passed among the people on the Day of Resurrection will be bloodshed.”

'Abdullāh Ibn Mas'ūd (رضي الله عنه) said, "Whoever Want's to follow Someone, then let him Follow someone who has already Died. Those are the Companions of Muḥammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم).
