Sometimes We Might Think "Why Isn't ALLĀH ﷻ Accepting My Dua" Sometime's the Waswas of the Shaytān Might Delude Us Into Thinking that ALLĀH ﷻ Had Abandoned Us And Isn't Listening to Us. Maybe ALLĀH ﷻ Knows the Consequence of That Dua so He Doesn't Accept It?

Sheikh Sālih al-Fawzān حفظه الله Stated:

إذا لم تتبع ما عليه رسول الله ﷺ وخلفاؤه الراشدون،
‎"If you Don't Follow That which The Messenger of ALLĀH ﷻ Prophet Mohammad ﷺ and his Rightly Guided Caliphs Were Upon,

تغرق في هذه الفتنة.
you will drown in this Fitnah."

The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “I was shown Hell and I have never seen anything more terrifying than it. And I saw that the majority of its people are women.”

They said, “Why, O Messenger of Allah?”

He said, “Because of their ingratitude (kufr).”

It was said, “Are they ungrateful to Allah?”

He said, “They are ungrateful to their companions (husbands) and ungrateful for good treatment. If you are kind to one of them for a lifetime then she sees one (undesirable) thing in you, she will say, ‘I have never had anything good from you.’”

[Bukhari, 1052]

In another narration, the prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said:

“O women! Give charity, for I have seen that you form the majority of the people of Hell.’

They asked, ‘Why is that, O Messenger of Allah?’

He replied, ‘You curse frequently and are ungrateful to your husbands. ”

[Bukhaari, 304]

What we want to point out from these ahadeeth is the attitude of the believing women.

When the prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم told them this, all they asked was “Why” - and this was so they could know the reasons and stay away from them.

The Prophet didn’t tell them this to try and attack us, rather to warn us women to stay away from those characteristics that are frequent in many women which lead them to the hellfire, and to encourage the women to do more in good deeds to protect ourselves.

However, today, we would see it as an attack. Rather than be curious as to what to do to ensure we’re not of those women, some women would start to argue with the hadeeth or use that as an excuse to criticise Islam, والعياذ بالله !.

Dear sister, Allah said:

"Nor does he (Muhammad) speak of (his own) desire. It is only a Revelation revealed."

If the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said something, it was because Allah inspired him to. Therefore it is a waste of time to argue with the ahadeeth and it can be a nullification of our belief in the prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم if we start to disbelieve in what he said and brought.

Let’s be like the true-believing women: We hear, and we obey.

Imām Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:

"It is reported that in Egypt, there was a man who would maintain the mosques, making the call to prayer, etc. He was, by all outward means, an obedient person and devout worshipper.

One day, as he usually would, he ascended the minaret to make the call to prayer. At the base of the minaret, there was a Christian woman standing. He saw her, and was seduced by her looks. So, he descended the minaret, went to her, and entered her home. She said to him: “Who are you, and what do you want?”

He replied: “I want you.”

She said: “Why?”

He said: “You have enslaved my eyes, and you have captured my heart.”

She said: “I will never answer your desire in a doubtful or suspicious manner.”

He said: “Ok, so, I will marry you, then.”

She said: “You are a Muslim, and I am a Christian. My father will never allow me to marry you.”

He said: “So, I will become a Christian.”

She said: “If you wish to do so, go ahead.“

So, the man became a Christian in order to marry this woman, and lived with the woman’s family in her house. Later on that day, however, he was on the roof of the house. He fell from the roof and died without even having enjoyed his new bride. So, he lost the woman, and he lost his religion.”

Someone Asked Aisha - Ummahatul Mumi’neen - (Radiallahu'Anha)

“Tell Me About the Character of the Messenger of ALLĀH ﷻ Prophet Mohammad ﷺ “

She Said, “Do You Not Read the Qur'ān?”
I Said: “Yes.”

Upon this She said: “The Character of the Messenger of ALLĀH ﷻ Prophet Mohammad ﷺ Was the Qur'ān.”

He said: “I Felt (so Embarrassed that) I Quickly Wanted to Get up And Not Ask Anything (further) till Death (Due to How Ashamed I Felt When She Asked
“Do you Not Read the Qur'ān?”)

If You Are Married

This Is My Number-One Tip:
let Go of Your Subconscious Fantasies About Marriage. Leave the World of Fantasy in Favor of the World of Reality.

Because The Reality Is:

You're Not Perfect, and Your Spouse Isn't Perfect, So your Marriage Won't be Perfect. And That's Okay.

And There's No Such Thing As Soul Mate's, and The Idea of this Perfect Romantic Love Actually Makes a Lot of People Depressed in Their Marriages. So Let it Go.

Our Unhappiness Come's From the Gap Between Our
Expectation's And Our Reality.

If our Expectations are Too High and Unreasonable due to the Fantasies we Learned from Disney, Hollywood, and Bollywood "Love Stories," then Actual Reality will Never Measure Up.

And We Will be Disappointed, Dissatisfied, Discontented.

And Shaytān will Whisper to Us Slyly that We Probably Married the Wrong Person.

And then We Start Thinking About Divorce. Thinking that We Need to Leave this Un-perfect Spouse and This Un-perfect Marriage to Find our "Soul Mate" and our "Perfect Love Story" and our "Happily Ever After," Because this Clearly Isn't It.

Only We will Never Find those Fantasies, Even if We Were to Continuously Hope from Marriage to Marriage Seeking.

Because the Problem Isn't Our Spouse.

The Problem is the Fantasies that Fuel our Expectations, Which Poison our Thoughts and Feelings About Reality.

So let Us Gracefully Let Go of the Fantasies and Maturely Accept Reality. This is the Start of Happiness In Marriage.
