مضى الثلثان يا قلباه فالحق
Two thirds have passed, so catch up, o my heart,

على الثلث الأخير من السباق
with the last third of this race.

أمامك ليلة عن ألف شهر
In front of you is a night better than one thousand nights,

مخبأة لدى العشر البواقي
hidden amongst the ten nights that are left.

When is Laylatul Qadr?

There is no set date for Laylatul Qadr, from the various ahadith we can conclude it is in the last 10 nights, hence why they are the most virtuous, and it is more likely that they are in the odd nights of the last 10. Nevertheless, due to their differing dates, it is recommended and imperative that we all strive as hard as we can every single night within the last 10 days, that way we will not miss Laylatul Qadr.

• What can we do?

There are a number of ibadah that we can do on these nights such as:

•Prayer, pray Tahajjud

•Dua: make dua for whatever you wish, as long as it's in the boundaries of shariah, there's no limit to dua, make dua that you reach the next Laylatul Qadr so you have this opportunity again.

•Dhikr and Salawat: keep your tongue heavy with the remembrance of ALLĀH ﷻ and thank Him for allowing you to reach another Laylatul Qadr. Keep sending salutations to our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

•Qur'an: Laylatul Qadr is when the Quran was revealed so give it its right by reciting as much as you can.

•Itikaaf: if you have an opportunity to do so, go do Itikaaf and naturally all the above actions mentioned will increase too.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ used to strive hard in these last ten nights more than any other month. Let’s exert ourselves as much as we can Now' .

• Istighfar
• loads of Du'a
• Nawafil prayers
• Read one hadith
• Memorize one surah/few ayaah
• Give sadaqa
• pull out Du'a list again
• Special Adiyaah for muslims of P@l3st!n3 and oppressed Muslims across the globe
• Do qiyam; don't fall asleep

Shaykh Saleh Al-Uthaymin رَحِمَهُ ٱللَّٰهُ Said:-

The Takbir of Eid begins from Sunset on the last day of Ramaḍān, until the Īmām arrives for Salat al-Eid.

اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ لَا إلَهَ إلَّا اللَّهُ. وَاَللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ وَلِلَّهِ الْحَمْدُ.

Do Not neglect to glorify ALLĀH ﷻ on this Night, for Righteous deeds magnify their Reward for those who Perform them, while People are Heedless of it.
