How are the Salaf Defined ?
Explanation to Answer
The first generation was Muhammad ﷺ teaching the Sahabah, and they are called "Al Ashaab" (companions)
The second generation was the Sahabah teaching their students, and they are called "At-Tabi'een" (students)
The third generation was the Tabi'een teaching their students, and they are called. "Taba'i Tabi'een" (students of students)
And these 3 generations of learning are considered Hujjah, or proof for the Muslims. Anyone after, is not considered so.

What is the Khimar?
Shaykh Al-Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah said:
“The khimaar is that which covers the head, the face and the neck. And the jilbaab is that which is made to fall from the top of the head downwards, such that nothing from her dress is apparent except for her two eyes.”
As is reported on him by Al-Albaanee in his book “Hijaab” p.71
-
Imaam Ibn Khuzaymah said in his saheeh:
“The khimaar: that which a woman covers her face with.”
And this is what the female companions understood regarding khimaar when the aayah obligating it was revealed.
-
Narrated `Aishah:
May Allah bestow His Mercy on the early emigrant women. When Allah revealed: "... and to draw their veils all over their Juyubihinna (i.e., their bodies, faces, necks and bosoms)..." (V.24:31) they tore their Murat (woolen dresses or waist-binding clothes or aprons etc.) and covered their heads and faces with those torn Muruts.
Sahih al-Bukhari 4758
Ibn Hajr said:
“Her saying ‘used them as khimaars’ means we covered our faces with them.”
Taken from the book ‘Awdatul Hijaab 3/287-288
Imaam Muhammad Al-Ameen Ash-Shinqeetee said (when commenting on the above hadeeth of ‘Aa’ishah):
“This authentic hadeeth is clear proof that the female companions mentioned in it understood that the meaning of Allaah’s saying, “And (tell them) to draw their khimaars all over their juyoob (bosoms)” required the veiling of their faces. That is why they tore off part of their dresses and “used them as khimaars” meaning they covered their faces with them, obeying Allaah’s command in (24:31), which mandates the veiling of their faces.
So a woman’s wearing of the hijaab in front of men and the veiling of her face before them is established in the authentic sunnah, which provides an explanation for the Quraan… It is well known that they could not have gotten their understanding that Allaah’s saying “And (tell them) to draw their khimaars all over their juyoob (bosoms)” meant to veil the face except from the Prophet (saw), since he was present at that time. They would ask him about things that they found difficult with in their religion… So it is not possible that they could come up with an understanding of this ayah by themselves.”

The Ṣaḥābah would do the Sunnah because it was Sunnah.
We leave the Sunnah because “It's Just Sunnah, Not Wājib.”
The Ṣaḥābah left the Makrūh because it was Makrūh.
We do the Makrūh because “It's only Makrūh, not ḥarām.

Do You Practice What You Learn And Preach?
Do Your Deeds Match The Knowledge You Proclaimed?
Abu Al-Darda’a (رضي الله عنه) Said:
"What I fear most is the day of reckoning when said to me: You Had Knowledge, so what did you do with that knowledge?"
Jami’ Bayan Al-‘Ilm (1/549)
Admin's Note:
In our pursuit of knowledge, we often forget its true purpose: To transform our actions and character. Gaining and sharing knowledge without practicing it is a betrayal of its essence. On that Day, our scholarly discussions, eloquent speeches, and extensive learning will be scrutinized. We will be asked not about how much we knew, but how much we lived by what we knew.
Let this be a stark reminder: Knowledge without action is like a tree that bears no fruit. It is our deeds that will testify for us or against us. Let us not be among those who are rich in words but poor in deeds. Strive to embody the knowledge you possess, for on that Day, mere possession of knowledge will hold no weight. Practice what you preach, for the true measure of wisdom is in the actions it inspires.

ⓘ Reminder For Myself First And Foremost
The Shaytān Seduces Slowly
First, she begins to leave her home often,
Then she becomes bold and begins to interact with Non-Mahram men on a daily basis,
Then, she begins to wear bright colored Jilbābs and Niqābs,
Then, her gloves are only an accessory for some occasions (she starts showing her hands),
Then, her Jilbāb slips back and she begins to reveal her forehead and eyebrows,
Then, she begins to style her outfits, matching her shoes/purses with the color of her garments,
The plain eyes aren’t satisfying to her anymore, so now she uses cosmetics to enhance them,
Then, the Jilbāb disappears and now its an Abāyah and a scarf,
Then, the Abāyah becomes flashy, adorned with laces and sequins,
Finally, The face is no longer hidden.
After this her style of dressing begins to resemble the women of the Kuffār, her interactions with Non-Mahram men become casual and even flirtatious, and leaving her home becomes a pastime for her to the point that she begins to loathe staying in.
Is this the way of a Muslim woman? Has she forgotten that ALLĀH ﷻ says:
وَقَرْنَ فِي بُيُوتِكُنَّ وَلَا تَبَرَّجْنَ تَبَرُّجَ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ الْأُولَىٰ ۖ
“And stay (firmly) in your houses and to not display yourself like the display of the Jāhiliyyah before…”
Your Hijāb is not a fashion statement sister's, nor is it an accessory that you do up in a way that looks nice. Its meant to be a COVERING for your accessories and adornment, so do not contradict it!
The moment you begin to think of how this color Jilbāb would match those shoes & bring out the color of your eyes, or that this purse goes well with that style, then be aware that this is the whispering of the Shaytān as he seeks to seduce you to go down his misguided path.
Your Hijāb should be simple and unadorned, and you should not leave your homes unless you have a necessity.

"I Am A Sunni And I Am Not A Salafi."
As for the saying: ‘I am a Sunni and I am not a Salafi.’ Then this statement is contradictory!
The Sunni – O you Miskeen (impoverished person), is the Salafi, and the Salafi is the Sunni. Whoever distinguishes between the two then he has distinguished between two things which resemble each other; so the Salaf are the Ahl-ul-Sunnah and the Salafiyyun are the followers of the Sunnah, and whoever absolves himself from that then he is not a Sunni nor a Salafi!
Just because some of the people claim Salafiyyah and they do not actually exemplify it, then this does not allow you to free yourself from Salafiyyah, rather it is obligatory upon you to honour yourself by ascribing yourself to the Salaf and to the Manhaj of the Salaf, since indeed anoscription to that is obligatory.
Ahl-ul-Sunnah, the Salaf, the followers of the Salaf, the Firqat an-Najiyyah, the Taifat-ul-Mansoorah, the Jamaa’ah, the Salafi and the Sunni, all of these mean one noscript and they are the Jamaa’ah, and they are similar to those whom were upon what the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and his Companions were upon.
So be a serious Salafi – be a serious Salafi, just like the Salaf used to say – a Salafi ascribing to the Manhaj of the Salaf in sayings, actions and belief.
And I believe that whoever brags with this type of talk (‘I am a Sunni and I am not a Salafi.’) is very far from the Manhaj of the Sunni which is the Manhaj of the Salaf.
May ALLĀH ﷻ give everyone the capability to obtain beneficial knowledge and righteous actions. May ALLĀH ﷻ send prayers, peace and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, his Family and all his Companions.’

Stop Texting the Opposite Gender
السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
Unfortunately it’s a trap many of the youth have fallen into, a sickness that has penetrated the hearts of Men & Women.
It’s best to state this as nothing more than an infatuation, and it’s an illness.
The men become insane, they become weak and feeble, hypocritical and sick.
The women distance themselves further from their family, their chastity and honour at harm and risk.
On the Day of Judgement, perhaps this Message will be shown to you as evidence that you was called to good, do not be those who rejected the truth after seeing it and therefore humiliated in this life and the next

Women are the True and original producers of the Men and leaders of this Ummah, if only they are able to realise the enormous influence they possess, and the important role they have to play in shaping the future outcomes of our Ummah.
It’s reported that Al Imām Ahmed رحمه الله said :
“My Mother helped me to Memorise the Qur’an when I was a Boy of just Ten year's (10 yrs) of age. She would wake me up before the time of the Fajr prayer and warm the water in order for me to take Wudhu, during the cold nights in Baghdad. She would dress me up and then cover herself with her Hijab and accompany me to the Masjid, due to the distance of our house from the Masjid and the darkness of the night…”.
May ALLĀH ﷻ have mercy on the Righteous Mothers of our Ummah and help us to Emulate their examples Aameen
