Trump administration's State Department reaffirmed its recognition of Edmundo González Urrutia as the legitimate president of Venezuela.

In an official conversation, Secretary Marco Rubio spoke with González Urrutia and opposition leader María Corina Machado, highlighting the courage of the Venezuelan people in the face of Nicolás Maduro's repression.
