The direction, in conjunction with other national government agencies, has established restrictions on the entry into the country of Venezuelan citizens linked to the Maduro regime.

The restrictions apply to officials, members of the armed forces, businesspeople associated with the regime and sanctioned by the United States, among others.

🇦🇷🇻🇪❌🇺🇸 — The Governor of the Province of Buenos Aires, Axel Kicillof (Kirchnerism), has condemned the capture of Nicolás Maduro by the United States.

The Province of Buenos Aires condemns the military actions of the United States in Venezuela. This act constitutes a serious violation of the fundamental principles of International Law, disrupts regional stability, and sets a dangerous precedent.

These actions violate the Charter of the United Nations and the Charter of the OAS, disregard the principle of non-intervention, and contradict historical doctrines promoted by Argentina, such as the Drago Doctrine and the Calvo Doctrine.

Argentina has a long tradition of international dialogue and the defense of sovereignty and territorial integrity, the prohibition of the use of force, and the peaceful settlement of international disputes.

The principles of defending peace, non-intervention, and sovereignty must take precedence over economic expediency.

Interesting fact: This declaration is a violation of the Argentine Constitution, specifically Articles 124 and 126, which prohibit provinces from contradicting the foreign policy established by the President.

🇧🇷🇧🇷❌🇺🇸 — 🇻🇪 The Brazilian Minister of the Secretariat-General of the Presidency, Guilherme Boulos, criticized the United States when commenting on the attacks against Venezuela. In a public statement, Boulos expressed support for Nicolás Maduro and said that the U.S. committed “the most serious imperialist action” ever experienced in Latin America

“The U.S. attack on Venezuela is the most serious imperialist action we have ever experienced. Does anyone think Trump is concerned about democracy? He wants oil. And more than that: he uses Venezuela as a precedent for a new Monroe Doctrine that threatens all of Latin America. Not even during the Cold War was there a direct U.S. military action on our continent, especially involving the kidnapping of a head of state. This is a moment for Latin American unity in full support of the Venezuelan people and in rejection of the criminal government of Donald Trump!”
