Plane with more than 100 migrants stranded on the Chilean border left for Venezuela:

A plane with a total of 115 Venezuelan migrants stranded for weeks on the Chilean border with Peru left this Sunday for Venezuela.

The Chilean Foreign Ministry explained in a statement that the people "boarded the flight in complete normality, previously complying with the requirements established by the Consulate of Venezuela in Chile, in coordination with the relevant national authorities, and in accordance with Chilean legislation and regulations, from the perspective of human rights".

The flight was made with a private airline and not with the Venezuelan public Conviasa, sanctioned by the United States, and left for Caracas from the border city of Arica, 2,000 kilometers from Santiago.

"Diplomatic efforts will continue with the aim of concluding future repatriation flights from different points in Chile," the Chilean ministry said

Venezuela signs agreement with ENI and Repsol to export natural gas

The deal comes after years of talks. ENI and Repsol's interest in condensates is due to the fact that this by-product forms part of the natural gas production operation at Cardón IV.

That project has increased its production to 500 million cubic feet of natural gas (about 14 million cubic meters) per day in 2023, which is 31% more than in 2019, according to Bloomberg.
🇲🇽🇻🇪🇺🇸📰 Texas Tribune: Gunman in Allen mall shooting may have had right-wing extremist beliefs
— "The gunman who opened fire on an outlet mall in this Dallas suburb Saturday, killing at least eight people, was a man in his early 30s who may have had white supremacist or neo-Nazi beliefs, people familiar with the investigation said Sunday.

Mauricio Garcia had multiple weapons on him and in his nearby car, said people familiar with the investigation who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss the ongoing probe.

Authorities have not released a motive, but a patch on his chest said “RWDS,” an acronym that stands for Right Wing Death Squad, according to people familiar with the investigation. The phrase is popular among right wing extremists, neo-Nazis and white supremacists, they said. In addition to the weapons found on his body, investigators found another five guns inside his car nearby, these people said."

🏴‍☠️ Ironically, Cartels are in favor of Title 42 and want to retain it.

With it ending soon it seems cartels/gangs on both sides of the border are making plays to try and maintain Title 42 because the unrestricted flow of migrants would overwhelm their human trafficking operations and they'd lose their cut. Cartels want a controlled level of immigration owned by them.

What means are they using? Terrorism. The recent 20 migrants killed and 18 wounded by Mexicans with questionable legal residency themselves, in three incidents, two by Tango Blast gang members, an alleged cartel affiliated gang. The victims being mainly from Honduras, Venezuela, Haiti, etc.

Running parallel to or just after the CJNG & CDG cartels did a "cleansing operation" on the Mexican side of the border opposite of Texas against CDN throughout the Mexican state of Tamaulipas. Seems they didn't want weak competition being revitalized by the soon to be opened migrant floodgates.

🇺🇸🇲🇽Mexican driver who ran over a group of migrants in Texas is accused of involuntary manslaughter

The man who crashed an SUV into a group of migrants at a bus stop in this Texas border city has been charged with eight counts of involuntary manslaughter, police said Monday, describing the driver as a local with an "extensive sheet of criminal record".

The driver, identified by authorities as 34-year-old George Alvarez, killed eight people and injured at least 10 when he crashed into a crowd early Sunday, authorities said.

The victims were waiting at a bus stop near the Ozanam Center, an immigration relief center in Brownsville, a senior law enforcement official said.

Brownsville Police Chief Felix Sauceda said authorities are investigating the incident and have not ruled out the possibility that the accident was intentional.

Authorities are awaiting the results of a formal toxicology report to see if Alvarez was drunk at the time of the accident.
ICC rejected the Maduro Gov's request to respond to the victims

The Chamber of Preliminary Affairs I of the International Criminal Court (ICC) rejected the request of the Nicolás Maduro regime to respond to the victims who presented their testimonies in support of the continuation of the investigation for crimes against humanity in Venezuela.

The judges rejected the authorization requested by the regime to present a reply to the report of the Victim Participation and Reparations Section (VPRS), which compiled the opinions and concerns of more than 8,900 victims in support of the investigation of the prosecutor of the ICC, Karim Khan.

“The Chamber will not grant Venezuela such authorization in the present case (…) the VPRS Report conveys the opinions and concerns of the possible victims. At this stage, no victim has been admitted to participate in the process and therefore the level of response anticipated by Venezuela is not justified at the current stage. In these circumstances, the Chamber does not consider it necessary to receive additional communications from Venezuela or from any other participant in this proceeding," the judges stated in their decision, dated May 4.

In this way, the regime did not achieve its objective of further delaying the process in the ICC, to prevent the investigation from being resumed.
