I've lately been pondering if it is even important. Not that we should not rest, meditate type approach.
Consider when we get to the point where the sun is always in the sky and there is no more darkness.. or the light of heaven.
How would one sleep without the night? I think it'd turn into a nap.. or like above a sort of meditative position. Our body can recover with some rest, a sit or some time away from exertion. It doesn't shut off though, or go away. Sleep is when this reality goes away, and we are told by the society that REM sleep is critical.
Could just calming the mind, achieve the same as stilling the body?
What if that is a falsehood? Just musing.

Tonight I've been debating sleep and if it is even needed. The body can recover with a sit/rest. The mind.. should it not be similar?
Why must we shut off, go into dream land.
I've been doing this thing I call dream skipping. I sort of meditate on my back and enter a light sleep/dream. I'm both in the dream and in normal life at the same time. I always feel incredibly rested. I've not replaced sleep with this practice as sleep is so routine at this point

The story playing out is not organic in any way. You can even take the "buy organic" marketing on a perspective of "start living your own life." Even through the awakening we hear much about a collapse and people are building them self up, healing, learning, etc.. You see an orientation, position, pose on people and their goal is to survive. For the reality tells them they will not, the theories on our doom are countless by now. So this whole process has pushed people into reality more than anything else before.
It is motivating people to do as people do here, learn, expand consciousness, share great memes, video and contact production on the peer to peer level. The benefits of this type of social media, communication, free speech - it helped a great deal of people out. To even just have some community in uncertain times, what a gift of a tool for people.
As with all tools, the wielder, user, driver - determines the path.

So effectively, there are two lances here. I will do my best.
The psychology and philosophy field offer a lot of information and wisdom to people and more or less is helpful to humanities position as a collective. What the pre-determined ideas or accepted "truths" do also do is present standards. Standards, are limitations. Meet expectations or Exceeded - how many of us have heard these works spoken aloud?

Precipice living is interesting living. We basically have this rational realization of where things are going. Foresight. We see what is coming. As something wicked this way comes.
We live in the normal reality and way of things, because incredibly well made prisons have been fashioned for us, just for us and customized. Look at your life and see where you were chosen for traumas and incidents. When you were challenged most by the reality. When it inverted your situation into shit. So one must balance the reasonable outcome, against keeping it real and navigating the presented reality. All while managing emotions and largely -- controlling themselves. What is freely known now is horrible, madness. Yet people are holding it in check, they are still sane in an insane world. What a feat of humanity. The awakening being as innocent as truth really is. In the concept of the bonfire, it is many flames brought together. So lend your flame to others around you, build your tribe. Share the light, information is light, and spread the world. Download as much as you can onto other souls. They are more resistant than hard drives. Spread information and perspective as far and wide as you possibility can.
