Hello everybody...

Currently QuickPic have this error
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException

The "ClassNotFoundException" exception occurs when the system cannot find the specified class. In this case, it appears that the HttpPost class from the org.apache.http.client.methods package is not sending.

Starting with Android 6.0 (API 23), the Apache HttpClient library has been removed from the Android SDK. Instead, it is recommended to use the HttpURLConnection class or third-party libraries such as Apache HttpComponents.

This is not cool information for me as I don't have the source code and obviously I don't have access to Gradle to modify and update necessary dependencies.

What's more. Android, Google, Qualcomm, etc. are showing signs that the ARM 32 library will be removed and discontinued in new releases and future updates.

Another bad news for QuickPic which uses native libraries on ARM 32.

I don't want to create long sad texts or anything like that, but this is really complicated to get around.

A truly efficient patch update for QuickPic can take a long time until an alternative, tool or my knowledge fixes these problems and probably the pile of problems they will cause when altered...

It's not a discontinuation message or anything like that, but I want to be transparent with everyone who is waiting for something.

QuickPic Mod it has been maintained by me since 2015 when CM acquired the application, it all started with an idea on Google+ and we never stopped... These are 8 years with all of you. All my gratitude, thank you for trusting and liking my work!
