“This is 11th October 2025. Queues of elderly & vulnerable waiting for their combine flu & COVID jabs.

I stopped in the crowd to ask what people were waiting for. The couple that replied were obviously very retired scientists in biochemistry.

They called me "a thicko who probably got her PhD from the back of a fag packet. And that their daughter was a proper doctor".

I didn't get angry. I didn't call them names. I told them I was a subject matter expert and had a PhD in genetic vaccines at the university of Nottingham in 2003.
