In my comprehension of buddhism the concept of elevating your perspective over the mundane seems to be the goal it is the deprivation and solitude that is to bring a discovery of awareness there are many paths to this awareness even technological ones. But once aware looking at the mundane that was abandoned you can see the truly remarkable facets of our existence incorporating that extraordinary viewed into your being allows you without effort to be a beacon for others. The key to all of it is the expression of love , not physical or proclaimitory but actionable simply helping that guy loading plywood at the home depot reaching up to get that elders needed purchase from the shelf, telling a struggling young tween she is beautiful.
