It is quite risible how the west does not understand the Russian people, at all.
Everything is labeled as Kremlin propaganda, Russian disinformation, and the latest trend is "Wagner did it".
Didn't you people even have "Sovietology" or "Kremlinology" as a specific field of study? Did this not include studying people and their behavior too?
It is so hard for westerners to comprehend the Russian sentiment, maybe this difficulty comes from the lack of love, respect and a sense of unity with one's place of birth and fellow countrymen.
We call each other "родной", the literal translation for this in English is "native", but that is not it at all. For us this means "ours by birth, by spirit, by habit". We are a united people, maybe we come off as harsh, serious, unfriendly, but we will always be there for each other and our Motherland. My mom calls this a "sense of elbow", as in we put our elbows together to accomplish a common goals. We work together, we support each other, we support our native land and all the people in it, our "родные". We are taught to be this way, by our parents, grandparents and great grandparents.
Russians online are not part of a government organization, we are not all Wagner, we are not at an office in the Kremlin, we are not paid to be here. We are all over the world, and we go online to show love and support for our people.
We are Russians, and together we are strength.

🇺🇸A group of Republicans in Congress has written a joint letter to US President Joe Biden calling for an end to aid to Ukraine in its current form

"A second year of war has begun, but there is no foreseeable end in sight, nor a clear strategy to end it. A proxy war with Russia in Ukraine is not in the US interest and threatens to escalate out of control," wrote the authors of the letter, which was signed by 20 people (including Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Green, who last year called for an audit of the funds allocated to Kiev).

According to the Congressmen, the current strategy of the Biden administration - constant aid and sanctions - leads to "escalation and more violence" and increases the risk of a direct confrontation with Russia. They also criticised the decision to transfer HIMARS to Ukraine, which was seen as a serious provocation, and possible decisions to provide Ukraine with new longer-range weapons.

As the US elections approach, more such moves by the Republicans can be expected.
