🇺🇦🇷🇺Former adviser to Zelensky Olexii Arestovich considers the drone strike on the Kremlin to be a provocation by the Russian authorities in order to scare the West with the threat of escalation.
“This is pure provocation. Ukraine does not benefit from such an escalation now, because we need systemic support for the counteroffensive, political and military. The purpose of the provocation is to scare the West on the eve of the counteroffensive in order to weaken support at least a little, ”Arestovich said.
Recall that the Kremlin blames Ukraine for the attack. Zelenskiy denies involvement. And the Russian opposition leader Ilya Ponomarev that the strike was carried out by "anti-Putin" partisans.

✅This opinion is shared by former Trump adviser, US Army Colonel Douglas McGregor.
📝“I think the bottom line is that if this [Ukrainian conflict] ends, will NATO even remain? The facade will still exist for some time. But will it have any content? Doubtful. Will it last more than a few years? I don't know," McGregor said.

🇺🇸 White House report: Debt limit default could cost 8.3 mln U.S. jobs - Reuters
A protracted default on U.S. payment obligations could result in the loss of 8.3 million jobs and a 6.1% reduction in economic output, according to an analysis by the White House Council of Economic Advisers released on Wednesday.
Such an unprecedented default "would likely lead to severe damage to the economy, with job growth swinging from its current pace of robust gains to losses numbering in the millions," the council said in the report.
Even a more modest, "short" default scenario that is quickly resolved could lead to a loss of 500,000 jobs and a 0.6% reduction in real GDP, the council said.

Worth noting that the bomber aircraft stationed at Engels Airbase launch most of the conventional armed missiles Russia deploys in Ukraine. With this in mind the aircraft there going on alert is not out of the ordinary at all. Any alert is likely for the deployment of conventional missiles not nuclear ones.

🇺🇳NATO intelligence chief says Russia is mapping critical submarine systems - Bloomberg
✔️He stated that "Moscow can target infrastructure in Europe and North America."
“There is concern that Russia could target submarine cables and other critical infrastructure to undermine livelihoods and gain leverage over countries that support Ukraine,” NATO Assistant Secretary General for Intelligence and Security David Kuttler was quoted by Bloomberg as saying.
✖️It's clear, if they sang like that, then we can expect provocations, with further attempts to blame everything on Russia
