The agreement was signed in 1990. In 2007, Russia suspended its participation in the CFE Treaty until the NATO countries ratify the Agreement on Adaptation and begin to implement this document in good faith.

*Treaty on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe (CFE) was negotiated and concluded during the last years of the Cold War and established comprehensive limits on key categories of conventional military equipment inEurope (from the Atlantic to the Urals) and mandated the destruction of excess weaponry.

The treaty proposed equal limits for the two "groups of states-parties", the NATO and the Warsaw Pact

"A Russian Kh-55 cruise missile was found in Zamość. These are the preliminary conclusions of the Technical Institute of the Air Force, which is engaged in the examination of this object for the prosecutor's office.
