2019 October - Astrophysics (a synthwave remix channel) got stolen and it was not the only one

Good Morning. My name is André Luiz and I'm behind Astrophysics, a channel focused on synthwave anime remix and retrowave in general. I made a lot of Jojo remixes such as Synthwave Crusaders and Il Vento D'oro and I work with retrowave in general.

My channel was unlinked from my account on october 21st, got deleted october 24th, came back november 1st and yesterday, october 05th, it is confirmed that someone hijacked and stole my channel with 33k subs. They've changed the name to Football TV and they've been posting football streams and videos non-stop like a bot.

The weirdest thing is that I noticed this by myself on ocotber 21st, Google and YouTube haven't notified me of anything, haven't sent me any email about any kind of alteration on my account, violation or unusual point of access... I'm already in touch with YouTube Support for 2 weeks and they only tell me to wait...unbelievable. The hacker is still monitizing my old videos!!

It seems I'm not the only one on this kind of situation, a fellow creator is having the same issue and it is just bizarre ([https://twitter.com/MarcoStyleNL/status/1191002714500685827](https://twitter.com/MarcoStyleNL/status/1191002714500685827) ) and his channel is being sold on a website! It looks like a great scheme of hacking or some kind of information leak, I don't know.

I come here to ask for your help, some kind of solution I don't know. I don't want to stop making videos. I had a whole album almost ready for release and hell broke loose. Please, spread the world. This is too much of a mess.

2019 November - COPPA doesn't seem to apply to creators

Hoeg Law says the law has nothing on creators so I decided to look up the law and there is nothing with regards to content creators in there, it just a giant mountain of "you need parental permission to collect a kids data and the parents can ask to review or delete the data you collected about their kids" and nothing else.

the law goes after website operators and last I check we don't exactly own the channel since Youtube/Google can kill it anytime they wish and creators don't collect any information so how exactly are creators supposed to comply with the law?
