To be honest, I don't even know who they were, I just saw *yet another* btc scam live stream show up in my subnoscriptions feed, and googled the channel name. I figured it out (through google images) that they used to make an animated cartoon called "Battlefield Friends", with this character: [https://imgur.com/pFoBiad](https://imgur.com/pFoBiad) \- I must have subscribed to that channel years ago and forgot about it. Did a little more digging and found their twitter and subreddit and those updates they posted.

2020 March - My channel, Pixel Rookie was just hacked and stolen. Looking for help.

Long story short, my computer was compromised and even though I have 2 Step Verification enabled on my personal and YouTube account, they were still able to access my account through a virus.

I spent about 5 hours yesterday using a password management tool (Dashlane in case you were interested... I would most certainly recommend it at this point) and went through all of my logins to secure them from my work laptop that wasn't compromised.

The activity stopped yesterday evening and I thought everything was good.

That was until about 2 hours ago, I tried logging into my account, www.youtube.com/pixelrookie and I see that I no longer have that channel associated with my business email address and I see that an hour AFTER it happened, there was an email in my Spam folder informing me that my request to move ownership of my channel was completed...

Here is a link of references to the attack on my account, even though I already had 2FA enabled and declined access from foreign countries. It also shows that my official pixel rookie email address does not have access to my channel: https://imgur.com/a/Vfj0bst

I also just got an email from someone stating that they are trying to sell my channel.

I've had the channel for about 3 years and I just hit 20,000 subscribers last week - needless to say, I value my channel a lot and I am a little desperate right now.

I submitted a ticket to YouTube support but their live chat is unavailable right now and the email ticket could take multiple days to be received, especially since it is Friday.
