2020 March - What ever happened to Læffy?

Way back in 2011, this video came out:

Clearly it went viral within a few years, and even now, I still think this was a necessary addition to the YouTube community.

I haven't heard anything about this guy, nor has the OP said anything about him (as far as I know), does anyone know what happened to this guy, and where he is now, unless there isn't anything out there about him?

2020 March - My channel, Pixel Rookie was just hacked and stolen. Looking for help.

Long story short, my computer was compromised and even though I have 2 Step Verification enabled on my personal and YouTube account, they were still able to access my account through a virus.

I spent about 5 hours yesterday using a password management tool (Dashlane in case you were interested... I would most certainly recommend it at this point) and went through all of my logins to secure them from my work laptop that wasn't compromised.

The activity stopped yesterday evening and I thought everything was good.

That was until about 2 hours ago, I tried logging into my account, www.youtube.com/pixelrookie and I see that I no longer have that channel associated with my business email address and I see that an hour AFTER it happened, there was an email in my Spam folder informing me that my request to move ownership of my channel was completed...

Here is a link of references to the attack on my account, even though I already had 2FA enabled and declined access from foreign countries. It also shows that my official pixel rookie email address does not have access to my channel: https://imgur.com/a/Vfj0bst

I also just got an email from someone stating that they are trying to sell my channel.

I've had the channel for about 3 years and I just hit 20,000 subscribers last week - needless to say, I value my channel a lot and I am a little desperate right now.

I submitted a ticket to YouTube support but their live chat is unavailable right now and the email ticket could take multiple days to be received, especially since it is Friday.

'On April 18th, YouTuber Vara Dark posted a video recounting how she received a threatening email, and then was subsequently hacked after covering fellow YouTuber Suzy Lu.

Vara had just finished a series of videos on Lu, ennoscriptd “Suzy Lu Deplatforms and Censors Critics – What I think of her” and “Suzy Lu’s Strike Censorship Continues – My Last Word on Suzy Lu.”

If the email wasn’t enough, hours later, Dark claims someone someone hacked into her web hosting account and used the card on file to rack up nearly a thousand dollars in domain purchases.

Luckily, Vara’s bank flagged the charges as fraudulent activity and will be working with her to get her money back.

This very well could be an isolated incident. Dark explains in the video above, “I want to make it clear here that I’m not accusing Suzy Lu of doing any of these things. Obviously it could be one of her very obsessive supporters or just someone in general who dislikes me. But the timing of everything here seems suspicious.” '
