While I'm deeply opposed to the burning of the American flag (which should be obvious), I think a lot of folks might be slipping back into 3D and missing the point here...
Remember what our flag stands for:
FREEDOM
(even if how others exercise it may offend you)
Is Trump's EO really about protecting the flag from desecration, knowing full-well this will very likely be deemed unconstitutional?
Or....
Is this yet another scene in the noscripted movie designed to bait the left to stand up for free speech (and in the process highlight their double standard)?
I think Trump knows this will go all the way to SCOTUS and the end result will be the strengthening of 1st Amendment protections
Same playbook as the WH are using with Epstein👇

JUST IN💥: House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., on Monday issued a subpoena to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein's estate as part of an investigation into potential mismanagement by the federal government looking into Epstein and his associate, Ghislaine Maxwell.
“It is our understanding that the Estate of Jeffrey Epstein is in custody and control of documents that may further the Committee’s investigation and legislative goals," Comer said in a press release. "Further, it is our understanding the Estate is ready and willing to provide these documents to the Committee pursuant to a subpoena."
Comer requested the delivery of the documents before or by Sept. 8.

NBC News: President Donald Trump on Monday said he would target former President Joe Biden's circle, calling them "evil people."
"There were some brilliant people," Trump said, referring to Biden's allies in his White House. "But they’re evil people, and they’re going to be brought down. They have to be brought down 'cause they really hurt our country."
Trump's threat to have his political opponent's allies "brought down" marks his latest move to potentially target political adversaries in a pattern that has alarmed critics who paint the president as pursuing retribution and say he is weaponizing the Justice Department — a claim the president has made about the Biden administration.
Biden's office did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Under the agreement, Trump Media will launch a rewards system letting users convert earned "gems" from platform activities into CRO tokens via Crypto.com's digital wallet. Users can pay for subnoscriptions with CRO balances, while Crypto.com account holders get free or discounted Truth+ subnoscriptions. The companies will co-market Truth+ and the Crypto.com wallet.
Financially, Trump Media buys $105 million in CRO (about 685 million tokens, 2% of market cap), and Crypto.com invests $50 million in Trump Media stock—both with lockups. Trump Media will stake its CRO through Crypto.com custody for extra revenue.
