Holy Spirit showed me some things having to do with this back in May. I have been sitting with Him asking for interpretation and I will share when the “download” is finished. In the meantime, remember that God is working behind the scenes and while things look rough as the locust army destroys so much, God has released them to do it. But Joel 2 has good news for us: at just the right moment, God will go into action to get His land back. His righteous and jealous anger will erupt for His people and He will destroy our enemies. Restoration will come with the glory! So hang in there. This ride is bumpy, but it is for a purpose. Keep your eyes on Jesus and He will keep you in perfect peace!
If anyone has been taught or believes the need to keep the sabbath (or Torah in general), I encourage y’all to listen to this. This girl was set free from the Torah Observant Movement and Holy Spirit will use her testimony to deliver many others who have ears to hear!
We can’t claim faith in Jesus who fulfilled the law and also claim that we love Jesus and need to still follow Torah. We have to choose one of the other! If we choose Christ, then we have faith that it is finished because He finished it! Those who are in Christ are now under the new covenant and we live by the Holy Spirit. If we choose to follow Torah, then we are bound to the law and must perfectly keep every single law including the sabbath (and we will NEVER be “good” enough to fulfill it perfectly, otherwise Christ didn’t need to do it for us)! If we choose to keep the law we are unknowingly REJECTING Christ by choosing to be under the old covenant (like non-Messianic Jews who still reject Christ as the Messiah) and we are slaves to our sin and practicing religion.
We all get to choose what we believe. But I am going to shout it from the rooftops that Jesus is the ONLY way to the Father. Not our works lest we should boast in ourselves. Faith without works is dead, which means we will bear fruit as we live by the Spirit and love one another as Christ loves us.
