Friends, I want to caution us all about how we respond to the hate and attacks coming at our celebrations right now. Remember, the world will know us by our LOVE for one another, not by how right we are about something. We know the truth about what abortion really is and the curses that come from it, but those whose eyes are not open to the truth (yet) only see this as scary and confusing and evil to their “freedoms.” We must have compassion and understand that we were all once blinded by our own sin and that it was only because of the goodness of God that He opened our eyes to the truth. So I encourage y’all not to treat one another (especially unbelievers) like the enemy wants us to…with pride, impatience, and frustration, but instead, treat one another with kindness and compassion, because it is not us being right and others being wrong that will lead others to repentance, but God’s kindness! 🙂

So keep your eyes on Jesus and don’t get caught up in arguments with others like many of us did in 2020 that led to SO much division. Let’s beat the devil this time and love one another as Christ has loved us. Let’s walk out this do-over well, and not get caught in the traps the enemy is trying to set for us.
