A gun store in Montana was raided by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Internal Revenue Service last week, with 20 heavily armed officers attending the scene and confiscating 13 years of 4473 forms. The owner of Highwood Creek Outfitters believes the raid could be part of a wider policy by the the Biden administration and has called for answers from the ATF director and the IRS commissioner.

I think one of the more interesting EUCOM pathologies you see is that they seem to genuinely believe that a freshly-trained "NATO standard" brigade would perform better solely on the basis of "NATO training" than a veteran Ukrainian equivalent.

You have the actual best tanks available to Europe (insofar as the 2a7 is mostly vaporware) being given to brigades commanded by 28 year olds with no military experience. Meanwhile the territorial gains that have taken place (all 3 villages!) have been accomplished by 128th.

I think that at the end of the day the resolute smugness of EUCOM planning will be remembered as the biggest flaw of this offensive.”
