Russia introduces Orwellian CBDCs
According to the Bank of Russia, the Russian Central Bank will introduce the CBDC in stages: “First, we need to conduct a pilot on real digital rubles with real clients, and work out basic operations with banks (opening and closing digital wallets, transferring digital rubles between citizens, payment for purchases and services using a QR code). In the future, the range of operations will be expanded."

Ukraine heavily relies on Excalibur precision-guided artillery rounds and GMLRS rockets. However, the Russian forces have consistently disrupted the location systems of these weapons, even affecting models that were believed to be invulnerable to such interference.
The GPS satellite radio signals, can be disrupted by adversaries using competing radio noise. Military-grade US versions of GPS employ "m-code," a military signal, and certain systems are equipped with directional antennas that are angled towards the signal source, as well as noise filters to mitigate jamming attempts. However, leaked Pentagon reports in the spring indicated that even some American weapons specifically designed to counter jamming have failed to hit their intended targets in Ukraine.
The article goes on to describe alternatives such as "inertial navigation" as used by "Geran" drones as well as "TERCOM" or "terrain-contour matching" allegedly used by "Lancet" drones.
