🇺🇦☠️⚰️Economist: remains of dead Soviet soldiers are exhumed in Lvov for the funeral
In Lvov, it is necessary to exhume the remains of the dead of the Soviet period in order to bury the Ukrainian soldiers, who could not find a place in the cemetery, the Economist reports.
Earlier, the Lvov City Hall reported that the remains of 653 people were exhumed at the memorial cemetery on the Field of Mars, where the graves of fallen soldiers of the First World War and the Soviet period were located. According to the Lvov authorities, the remains are planned to be moved to another cemetery.
The magazine tells about Vitaly Chekovsky, who, along with two colleagues, was buried on August 4 at the Lychakovsky cemetery. According to the newspaper, a few weeks ago someone else was buried in this grave.

Dr. Paul Marik Rebukes the FDA: Ivermectin Is "One of the Safest Medications On This Planet"
• Its discovery won the Nobel Prize in 2015
• Recognized, 2nd to penicillin, for having the greatest impact on human health
• Has brought river blindness to the brink of elimination
• Over 3.7B doses administered
"And the notion that it's a toxic horse dewormer is really complete false and misinformation. And so the FDA themselves are perpetuating false information, and they're interfering with the patient-physician relationship," remarked Dr. Marik.

TIL Doctors are required to have their appendix removed before being stationed in Antarctica. This is to avoid the repeat of a 1961 situation, when the doctor at a Russian station removed his own appendix with the help of untrained expeditioners.

I'll be presenting "What Physicists Don't Know About Electromagnetism" at the Huntsville Hamfest, 2pm today in the Madison Room.
https://hamfest.org/forums
A video of the LibertyCon version of this talk is here: https://youtu.be/1wrF_9pxVKI
Summary:
In the 1940s, physicists and engineers alike used Stratton’s Electromagnetic Theory as their text. They learned about such applied topics as simple antennas, waveguides, arrays, even radio wave propagation over the earth. Today, physicists use Jackson’s Classical Electrodynamics. There’s still material on simple antennas and waveguides, but nothing on arrays and the only practical case of radio wave propagation mentioned is Schumann resonances.
Meanwhile radio scientists and electromagnetic engineers have taken Schelkunoff’s concept of “impedance” and put it to work in a host of practical applications understanding transmission and reflection of microwave signals. They’ve worked out link laws that describe what fraction of energy makes it from a transmitter to a receiver, or reflects from a target in a radar system. They’ve worked out fundamental equations for physical limits on the size and performance of small antennas.
What else don’t physicists know about electromagnetism? And what implications does it have for our understanding of how the world works?

NZ LABOUR COMISSIONED THIS REPORT WHICH WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE....
There has probably never been a more important election for the future direction of New Zealand #nz
Before you cast your vote you would be best served to know about this...
It's called PLANNED RELOCATION and it's coming to a town near you
An expert working group, commissioned by Labour's Climate Change Minister, delivered a report this week ....quietly.
Quote:
Where the evidence shows a community is likely to be wiped out in as few as 10 years, that poses an "intolerable level of risk" to the community’s safety or its continued viability. "The only rational response, in the absence of a feasible, cost-effective alternative, will be to relocate the community to a safer place."...

What if you say NO?
"in the final reckoning, it recommends communities be relocated using new legislated emergency powers, with NO RIGHT OF COURT APPEAL."
What are some of the recommendations?
*There should be no appeals to the courts on relocation programmes.
*And the relocation of communities would be comprehensive. At the end of a relocation programme, land in the at-risk area should no longer be allowed to be used
*the working group proposes a far greater degree of central coordination and control of managed retreat than had been previously anticipated
*the ability to change land ownership through the acquisition, and cancelling of noscripts to land, the ability to change uses of relocated land, and the payment of compensation and support to affected people
*a process where authorities (central and local government and private providers) can apply to withdraw services like roads and bridges from a property before or during a planned relocation;
*support to property owners is given on a specified basis, up to a cap per property, and any COSTS above the cap would be BORNE BY THE INDIVIDUAL PROPERTY OWNER.
*MAORI and non-governmental organisations would get the most COMPENSATION then owner-occupied homes
*BACH and holiday home owners should NOT RECEIVE COMPENSATION payments at all, though they might receive some modest assistance with demolition or clean-up costs.

A large-scale scheme for earning money on dodgers was exposed in Nikolaev: according to the investigation, this scheme was organized by the hospital director. He was arrested along with an accomplice.
The defendants created fake medical documents with fictitious mental illnesses in order to get a basis for deregistration. For such "documents" they charged 1.5 thousand dollars.
