Earning His Keep

It’s not hard to figure out why the election of WEF creature Javier Milei was arranged in Argentina: Argentina is not planning to become a member of BRICS on January 1, Diana Mondino, senior economic adviser to the country’s president-elect, Javier Milei, told Sputnik Brazil on Monday. The invitation to join BRICS was approved in […]

"Then we have the Associated Press, which has almost a monopoly of the news-gathering service. The Manager of this agency is said to have remarked recently that he was more powerful than the President of the United States. If his censorship of the news is as autocratic and as drastic as is commonly reported, that remark may well be true. He who can select the news upon which millions of readers are to be fed every day has an enormous, if unseen, influence upon the creation of the popular will... Anyone who knows the newspaper business from the inside knows that most newspapers are very autocratically run. The editors and reporters know what topics must be avoided, what news hushed up, what men and movements must be given no publicity."

Durant Drake (1922). America faces the future.

"Perhaps whatever is out there doesn't evolve by Darwinian selection: it would be what I call "secular intelligent design" that's a bit like machines designing better machines. And while it may not be broadcasting its existence to us, it could be found throughout the Universe."

Arkhaven Author Jon Del Arroz BANNED on Kickstarter and Indiegogo

Arkhaven writer Jon Del Arroz’s new parody comic has been banned on Kickstarter and (apparently) shadow-banned on Indiegogo. Why you may ask? Well, you may ask all you like but they sure as hell aren’t going to tell you. During the lockdown, Kickstarter was so strapped for cash that it did the unthinkable and parted […]

"Earrings on a man usually look unnatural, but they were the absolute norm among the Don Cossacks and had a serious symbolic meaning. The earring on the left ear meant that this Donets was the only son of a single mother, on the right — that he was the last man in the family. This element was considered a talisman, because during the battle the commanders tried to protect such fighters. The Cossacks felt a special piety for the headdress, which they wore not for warmth, but for honor. The Astrakhan cap, which, due to its specific cut, did not allow the fighter to walk with his head down, reflected the traditional worldview of the Cossacks who did not bend their backs in front of anyone. It was an important attribute of their self-determination, and therefore, when knocking it off a head, the opponent inflicted a deep insult to the enemy."

The Dutch National Museum said that one of its prized possessions, a rock supposedly brought back from the moon by U.S. Astronauts, is actually a piece of petrified wood.

Rijksmuseum spokeswoman Xandra van Gelder, who oversaw the investigation that proved the piece was a fake, said the museum will keep it anyway as a curiosity.

The Museum acquired the rock after the death of former Prime Minister Willem Drees in 1988. Drees received it as a private gift on Oct. 9, 1969, from then-U.S. ambassador J. William Middendorf during a visit by three Apollo 11 Astronauts as part of their "Giant Leap" goodwill tour after the first moon landing.

"It is claimed that Heaviside had finished the manunoscript for volume IV in 1916/1917 and that perhaps a different publisher may have taken on the task of disseminating his work. For whatever reason, this was not to be, and the works intended for volume IV were never published. A reasonable question to ask is, ‘Where is the manunoscript?’, if it was completed and ready for publication. The answer to this question has been sought by many ever since Heaviside's death."

Whenever these mouthpieces try to scare the shit out of everyone with how "out of control AI" will destroy humanity in the future, they have two goals:

1. They intend to do everything they say AI is going to do. Then they will blame everything that happens on the machine.

2. They will use these crimes to introduce a ton of new laws and regulations, ostensibly to control the AI, but actually to control YOU.

These people are ALL lying shitbags. No exceptions.

Just to be clear, every time you hear the words "human extinction," you can be assured the person uttering them is attempting to control you via fear. Humans are never going extinct. The worst that will happen is the world these monsters run will cease to exist. Which sounds great to me.

TIL about the "Rabbit Test," a human pregnancy test developed in 1931, in which urine from a female human would be injected into a female rabbit. The rabbit would be dissected and if its ovaries were enlarged then the human was likely pregnant (~98% certainty). The test was used into the 1970s.
