"Scientia potentia est" is a Latin aphorism that can be translated as "knowledge is
power" and is often attributed to Sir Francis Bacon.

In the Biblical Book of Proverbs, a proverb in a very similar wording can be found in Hebrew and is translated as:
“A wise man is strong, a
man of knowledge increaseth strength."

This sentence became more widespread around 1000 AD as it's seen in the Persian poet's Ferdowsi's Shanme, translated into English as "one who has wisdom is powerful".

The first known reference of the exact phrase appeared in the Latin edition of Thomas Hobbes' Leviathan published in 1668.

"Strangely enough, in his book Rules for Radicals, Saul Alinsky used these same theories from quantum mechanics to justify his thuggish tactics against his perceived enemies: capitalism and American philosophy. “Alinsky relied heavily on quantum mechanics to justify progressive thought. He acknowledged that his ideas help some and hurt some,” said Schantz. “To Alinsky and the left, there is no objective right or wrong, there is only power. They take power from the other and accumulate power among themselves and allies. Alinsky believed that the ideas of objective right and wrong were false because physics says there are contradictions and so to Alinsky, anything was permissible.”"

Fares Shehabi:

"In 2012, western backed Free Syrian Army terrorists FSA stole my olive oil factory in Aleppo and gave it to their allies in ISIS who in turn sent me a confiscation letter telling me to visit their HQ in the "children hospital" in East Aleppo where they shared location with all other "moderate" rebels in the city.

Of course I did not go because I was on their hit list. In 2014, the Syrian army liberated my factory and I immediately turned it into a free school to provide secular education for poor kids in the area who were subjected to radicalism in previous years. I kept the school running for 8 yrs until the gov fixed its nearby school.

In 2022, I decided to go back to work exporting one of the best extra virgin olive oil in the world. I rehabilitated my factory with huge financial difficulty due to harsh economic sanctions on Syria. Today, the factory is closed because of these sanctions.

My case is the case of most Syrians who struggled against terrorism for 12 years.

The very same thugs who robbed me with ISIS are now free in Idleb under al-Qaeda rule. They are only 20km away from where I am now. All of this happened to us because our country did not sell Palestine."

Christianity reversed Roman dysgenics and began a cognitive evolution

Frost (2023)

Researchers studied genetic data from individuals spanning the Neolithic era to medieval times in central Italy. They found that cognitive ability increased during the Roman Republic, declined in the Imperial era, and rose again during Late Antiquity. The decline during the Imperial era was attributed to a decrease in fertility among the upper classes, increased female hypergamy, and a growing slave population. The Pax Romana, a period of social pacification, also led to genetic pacification, making people less aggressive and submissive.

However, Christianity restarted cognitive evolution by promoting monogamous marriages, ensuring stable family structures, and fostering peace and stability. These factors allowed individuals to focus on intellectual pursuits and innovation, leading to the advancement of society.
