From Xi Van Fleet, who survived Mao's cultural revolution: "Opening scene of the new Nexflix original “3 Body Problem” premiering today. This is an adaptation of a Chinese novel and later a TV series.

The scene truthfully portraits a bloody struggle session during the Cultural Revolution. The target of was a professor of physics. His crime was teaching “bourgeois” Big Bang and Relativity theories. His wife, also a professor, was brought into the struggle session to expose and cut tie with him because she became “woke” and an “ally”with revolutionary Red Guards, also his students. His daughter had to witness the breakup of her parents and the killing of her father. This happened to countless families in real life.

Sad to say the same Cultural Revolution is here in America!"

🇺🇲🇷🇺 The “Havana syndrome,” which has been plaguing American diplomats for 10 years, may be linked to the Russian GRU, an international group of journalists says.

This disease is like a paralyzing stroke that makes them disabled for life: they cannot concentrate, lose their balance out of the blue, and suffer from terrible migraines.

Journalists claim to have traced a connection between the movements of GRU agents and cases of “Havana syndrome.” Employees of the Russian opposition The Insider, the American CBS and the German Spiegel took part in the investigation.

They claim that operatives from Russia's military intelligence unit may have been near diplomatic missions on at least a few occasions when American employees were faced with unexplained illness.

Kremlin Speaker Peskov has already stated that this is “nothing more than a groundless, unfounded accusation by the media.

“For many years now, the topic of the so-called “Havana syndrome” has been discussed in the press, and most often from the very beginning it was somehow linked to accusations from the Russian side of this. But no one has ever published or expressed any convincing evidence of these unfounded accusations,” Peskov said.

TIL that after the Sunshine Skyway Bridge was destroyed in a collision with a freighter, the replacement bridge was designed with protective bumpers to prevent it from happening again. When a ship collided with the new bridge in 1987, the bridge was unaffected but the vessel took on water and sank.

"China claims that it has automated plants that can make 1,000 cruise missiles a day—not impossible given that it can manufacture 1,000 EVs a day, or thousands of 5G base stations.

"The implication is that China can produce the equivalent of America’s inventory of 4,000 cruise missiles in a week while American defense contractors take years to assemble them by hand."
